Road to the World Cup: New Zealand key winner confirmed

Another Premier League top performer has earned a key in our Road to the World Cup campaign!

In Round 34 of our Premier League Predictor which took place last weekend, 'Stacey playz' (Alex Stacey from the UK) had the highest score of any Superbru player.

This has earned her the New Zealand key which unlocks a place in our Superbru 48 cash prize league.

The winning predictions

Round 34 was a 7-match round which Alex won with 17.5 points. That put her just half a point ahead of 4 players who managed 17 points in the round.

Alex had an incredible 5 Exacts including for Fulham's unexpected 1-0 triumph over Aston Villa and for Tottenham's first win of 2026 away at Wolves.

Alex claimed the Kiwi key by responding to our email earlier this week and says her impeccably named son, Jack, is very proud of her.

"Wow, this is such exciting news! [Superbru] started as a friendly family competition but I'm sure you can imagine how competitive we've become. It kills my brother that I play it quite safe and I've had some absolute shocking rounds, but this week was a joy to watch."

"I tend to look at previous games and team form, then sometimes completely disregard it and go with my gut. I also try to stick with my first instinct. Not sure which I'm prouder of, this or taking the top spot in our league from my dad."

Alex went on to say that she's very excited to compete in the Superbru 48 league, particularly since it will mean extra family time with her kids watching the games.

Next available key

There are still plenty of Road to the World Cup keys to be won.

Later today (Thursday), our random draw of World Cup league captains is taking place to hand out the Switzerland key.

Then, the next Premier League round this weekend will again have a key up for grabs.

In Round 35, the Colombia key will be awarded to the top performer in the round 🇨🇴🔑
