QUIZ: An A-Z of sport in 2019

It's fair to say that 2020 hasn't got off to the best start with COVID-19 causing a devastating impact on many lives and industries around the world, including sport. Whilst there are more important things in life, the absence of sport is incredibly frustrating for many so to distract ourselves we'll be reflecting on what happened last year in today's quiz.

In an alphabet challenge, the below quiz asks you for 26 answers, each of them beginning with a separate letter in the alphabet.

As always, let us know in the comments how many you managed but please try and avoid spoilers! Similarly, if you haven't yet joined the gang on Twitter and/or Facebook who have been posting screenshots of their results then feel free to get involved - our social media pages are a great place to maintain the bru community while we wait for tournaments to resume.

Instructions: After clicking 'Play' simply type an answer that you think will be on the list. If correct, the answer will automatically enter the list once you've typed the name. If the answer is incorrect, nothing will happen and you'll need to erase what you've written and try again.

For the questions that require a name as an answer, it is only the surname that is required and it's the surname that begins with the required letter. E.g. James Bond would be an answer for 'B' rather than 'J' and you'd only need to type Bond. Good luck!
