Predictions: Jack's Round 34 Premier League Picks

Having predicted 3 extra fixtures in Round 33, we only have 7 matches to predict this weekend as the FA Cup semi-finals also take place.

Last round

This season continues to be a bumpy one for me in the Premier League. 6/13 with 8 points is not what I was after but let's hope I can restore some pride in these final 5 rounds.

Road the World Cup update

🇸🇳🔑 The Senegal key was won by Anze in Round 33. You can read about that here with some quotes from the man himself.

🇳🇿🔑 The New Zealand key will be awarded to the top performer in Round 34 as part of our Road to the World Cup campaign.

Here are my thoughts on Round 34!

Sunderland vs. Nottingham Forest

This is a bit of a coin flip to kick things off in my opinion. Sunderland are strong at home, but Forest are the ones fighting for their lives and they've been playing pretty well for a while now. I'm sitting on the fence. Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Fulham vs. Aston Villa

Villa look to be finishing the season strongly and they showed earlier in campaign that when they find a bit of form, they can maintain it for quite some time. I think they'll beat Fulham who have frustrated their fans by looking as if they're already on the beach since early March. Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Aston Villa

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Can Liverpool finally get the better of Palace this season? I have my doubts considering the recent head-to-head but it does feel as if things are set up fairly nicely for them after a good win at Everton and with Palace having one eye on an upcoming European semi-final.Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Crystal Palace

West Ham vs. Everton

The pressure is obviously on West Ham to win this game given they're just 2 points above Spurs and the relegation zone, but Everton have been competitive away all season and I think they'll manage a point. I am tempted by a home win because last week's derby defeat will have really deflated Everton but David Moyes' team has a habit of avoiding losses on the road and he'll probably be quite up for this against his former club. Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Everton

Wolves vs. Tottenham

Right then. Logic says Tottenham probably finally get their first win of 2026 here. They were much improved last week and Wolves have been battered by West Ham and Leeds in the last two rounds. However, both of those defeats were away whereas at Molineux, Wolves are unbeaten in 3 against Arsenal, Liverpool and Brentford. It's hard to know whether things will change now that they're officially relegated, but Wolves will likely be quite energised by the idea of bringing Spurs down with them? It's hard to look past how bad Rob Edwards' team were last week though so I think the most likely outcome is a narrow away win. Prediction: Wolves 0-1 Tottenham

Arsenal vs. Newcastle

I keep saying there'll be more twists but Arsenal have to make sure this isn't one of them - if they fail to win this game I think they're done. Newcastle have lost 8 of their last 11 games and haven't won at the Emirates for years, so this should be 3 points for Mikel Arteta's side. Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Newcastle

Manchester United vs. Brentford

Finally, I'm not sure Brentford will even be able to maintain their drawing streak in this game. The Bees may well find a goal but Manchester United ought to come out on top. A victory here would all but seal their place in next season's Champions League. United's last result at home on a Monday night is a concern, but I'm giving Michael Carrick the benefit of the doubt. Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Brentford

Good luck to you all in Round 34!
