Predictions: Jack's Round 28 Premier League Picks
League table wise, it's largely 'as you were' at the top and bottom of the Premier League following Round 27 as Arsenal and City both won in the title race, and though West Ham made up a small amount of ground on Forest and Tottenham, it was only a point.
This week, leaders Arsenal host Chelsea who will at least hope to test them more than Tottenham did last week, and Spurs have a huge game themselves at Fulham where they really need to start showing improvement.
π¦πΊπ The Australia key was won by 'wynie' in Round 27 with 19.5 points. You can read about that here.
ππ·π The Croatia key will be given to the top performer in this weekend's round.
Here are my thoughts on Round 28.

Fulham ought to win this game. Both the club and Marco Silva will surely relish the opportunity to make a statement result against a 'traditional big six' club. Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Tottenham

Last round
I was slightly disappointed with 5/10 and 8 points because it all started so well with an Exact for Villa 1-1 Leeds! Wolves should have scored in the first half at Palace so that was annoying.Road the World Cup update

Wolves vs. Aston Villa
After starting with a 1-1 Exact for Villa in the opening game of last week's round, is it pushing my luck to ask for the same here? This is always a tough fixture for Villa and as I've mentioned before, Wolves are actually playing quite well at the moment because they've removed pressure from themselves by being absolutely terrible for the first half of the season. Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Aston VillaBournemouth vs. Sunderland
This is the kind of fixture Bournemouth may well make hard work of, but Sunderland are falling away a bit and haven't been competitive in their last 3 away games. Surely the Cherries can extend their strong recent run. Prediction: Bournemouth 2-0 SunderlandBurnley vs. Brentford
For now, I'm willing to consider that last week was just an off week for Brentford and they should be able to bounce back with a win here. Burnley's point at Chelsea was obviously a great result for the Clarets but I think it said more about Chelsea rather than being down to a particularly big improvement from Scott Parker's team. Prediction: Burnley 1-2 BrentfordLiverpool vs. West Ham
There is a tiny part of me wanting to back West Ham to get something from this game because Anfield just isn't the fortress it usually is this season, but it's still hard to go against the Reds considering how long it's been since the Hammers have won this fixture. I can see the visitors causing a few problems and probably scoring a goal, but Liverpool should manage a couple of themselves if Florian Wirtz is back. Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 West HamNewcastle vs. Everton
Newcastle really need to start improving their Premier League form but I'm going with the form patterns to continue here and predicting that Everton's decent away results will continue. With the Champions League draw tomorrow and Newcastle set to find out whether they'll be playing Chelsea or Barcelona next, it feels like a lot of focus and energy is going into that competition so this is an opportunity for the Toffees. Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 EvertonLeeds vs. Manchester City
I don't think it will be as comfortable as Arsenal's recent win at Elland Road was, but Manchester City should get the job done here to keep building that winning streak. Recent results have been good and yet it still feels like City could go up a few gears once they have Jeremy Doku back to play their more familiar style which benefits Erling Haaland more. Prediction: Leeds 1-3 Manchester CityBrighton vs. Nottingham Forest
I don't think there'll be a lot in this game so it's tempting to go for the draw rather than predicting which team might nick it by a single goal. Brighton have had a lot of draws at home this season but while that means they could really do with three points, I think Forest will be the side playing with greater desire given their league position. Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Nottingham ForestFulham vs. Tottenham
Perhaps he was saving big changes for this match which is more winnable on paper, but I think Igor Tudor's opening game in charge last week was a big concern for Spurs fans as it was just... not very different at all to what we saw under Thomas Frank. With so many injuries and missing defenders, the decision to play 3 at the back is mad to me. If you keep playing Joao Palhinha at centre back and Archie Gray as a wing back, things are unlikely to improve.Fulham ought to win this game. Both the club and Marco Silva will surely relish the opportunity to make a statement result against a 'traditional big six' club. Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Tottenham
Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace
Palace have a really good recent record at Old Trafford but that was when Oliver Glasner seemed a lot happier at the club and United weren't playing as well as they are currently. The Red Devils are starting to look like a really well balanced side at the moment, aided by a kind fixture schedule of course. Palace play tonight in the Europa Conference League and Glasner may well have left by the time this game kicks-off if they have been eliminated by Zrinjski Mostar, but I think I'll be going with a United win either way. Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Crystal PalaceArsenal vs. Chelsea
There's enough talent in the Chelsea team to beat almost anyone on their day, but their defence is nowhere near consistent enough and we've already had two matches between these clubs since Liam Rosenior took charge of the Blues which probably point towards the way this clash will go too. After last week's derby win, Arsenal should be too strong. Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 ChelseaBest of luck with your own predictions!

nothing is certain in football as there are always unforeseen things which can happen in football such as players getting sent off in a game which can change the outcome of the game very severely. 26 Feb 16:21
