World Cup 2023: Day 16 Preview
Well, last night was a lot more one-sided than expected, wasn't it!? Many of us were predicting Italy would at least give New Zealand a game in Lyon but instead we saw a real statement from the All Blacks as they ran riot, scoring 96 points.
Will today's matches prove to be more competitive? Here's what's coming up on Day 16 of RWC 2023.

A night to forget for Italy. New Zealand scored 14 tries on their way to a dominant win which will almost certainly see them through to the knockout stages with their final Pool A match coming against Uruguay next week. Italy are still in with a chance of progressing themselves, though there won't be many picking them to beat France in Round 5 after this.
â° Kick-off at 15:00 local time
đ Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes
It's Argentina who are 'red hot' favourites here rather than Chile, as the Pumas look to secure the win they need to setup an effective knockout match against Japan in Round 5 next week. The Chileans have enjoyed their debut World Cup and we've seen excellent support for them in France, so let's see if they can trouble their fellow South Americans on their way out.
đŤđŻ Fiji vs. Georgia đŹđŞ
â° Kick-off at 17:45 local time
đ Matmut Atlantique, Bordeaux
After their impressive win over Australia, Fiji now just need to avoid slipping up in their final two pool stage games to secure a spot in the quarter-finals, with this game followed by another match they'll be favourites in against Portugal next week. Georgia will be disappointed with their campaign so far having failed to beat Portugal themselves last time out in Round 3, eventually falling to an 18-18 draw.
đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż Scotland vs. Romania đˇđ´
â° Kick-off at 21:00 local time
đ Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille
Finally, we have what is expected to be a routine victory for Scotland in Pool B. It's been a rough tournament so far for Romania who have conceded over 150 points in their opening two games, so it's no surprise to see a heavily rotated Scottish lineup as they look to secure the bonus point they want here while resting key players for next week's huge clash against Ireland that they'll need to win in order to progress.
Good luck with your predictions today!
