Bristol's Ashton Gate is set for quite a weekend of rugby as the Women's Rugby Cup semi-finals take place across Friday and Saturday at the venue.

New Zealand vs. Canada
This feels much closer than rugby reputations suggest. Canada arrive with real cohesion and, crucially, belief: they beat the Black Ferns for the first time in 2024 and then drew 27–27 in Christchurch in May, when New Zealand needed an 84th-minute try to level it.
