URC: Round 9 Predictions

Fri 2 Dec 2022
The Sharks robbed me of a GSP last weekend having predicted an easy home win (and having changed another pick to Benetton after seeing team news). The wait for the full house goes on, but at least the Sharks have fired the coach on the back of letting down my Superbru score.
Here are my
URC predictions for Round 9.
Sharks v Ospreys
Will we see a new manager bounce from the Sharks? They can’t be as bad as last weekend, and the Ospreys aren’t usually very good.
Sharks by 18Edinburgh v Munster
This is a tricky pick, but I’ll give it to the home team, given that Edinburgh tend to be so strong in the Scottish capital.
Edinburgh by 4Stormers v Dragons
This is an obvious one, with the reigning champions looking difficult to beat, and the Dragons looking the opposite.
Stormers by 13Zebre v Glasgow
This looks like an opportunity for Glasgow’s first away win of the season, up against the league’s worst side.
Glasgow by 16Connacht v Benetton
Benetton have been great at home, but awful away, and this should be straightforward for Connacht.
Connacht by 13Bulls v Cardiff
Can the Welsh team cause another massive shock? Probably not at Loftus, where the Bulls remain unbeaten this year.
Bulls by 18Leinster v Ulster
This is 1st versus 2nd, but at the RDS there’s only one team you can pick to win. Hopefully a cracker to watch though.
Leinster by 9Lions v Scarlets
The Scarlets have only won once this season, and I can’t see them getting anything from this visit to Johannesburg.
Lions by 11
Is there going to be fantasy competition for the Heineken cup starting next week? Thanks
“While our Predictor game will run as normal, there will unfortunately be no Heineken Cup Fantasy game on Superbru this season, with EPCR deciding not to support that game format this year. Separately, we at Superbru are exploring plans to revamp our Fantasy Rugby offering in 2023, so keep an eye out for news next year.”
