URC: Round 10 Predictions

Most of this weekend's picks look relatively straightforward, although it's important to factor in some international absences for European teams, even though it's a rest weekend for the Six Nations.

Here are my picks for Round 10 of the United Rugby Championship.

Zebre v Edinburgh: Edinburgh by 9

Scarlets v Munster: Munster Rugby by 13

Lions v Bulls: Vodacom Bulls by 7

Leinster v Benetton: Leinster Rugby by 13

Sharks v Stormers: DHL Stormers by 4

Cardiff v Connacht: Connacht Rugby by 4

Glasgow Warriors v Dragons: Glasgow Warriors by 13

Ospreys v Ulster: Ulster Rugby by 4

In the two big South African derbies, I'm predicting two away wins based on the Bulls' and Stormers' stronger seasons so far. I'm also backing two Irish sides to win in Wales for a similar reason.

@Pollie @Die Skim I agree. This is an important game for the Sharks. They cannot afford to throw this game away. Sharks to sneak a win by 1 and get a bonus point. An ideal score would be by more than 7 to deny the Stormers a losing bonus point...

@LordTanamo it wasn't a walk over by Stormers. In fact the Stormers didn't play their best tbh plus the ref wasn't the best. For SA derbys the ref and tmo should be from overseas to prevent any favoritism. It's just my opinion and everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Good predictions Hutch! But I\'d have Leinster leading by just a little bit more this round with the squad depth they have, even with the 6N absences.

@dreadedred I've still got plenty of opinions - they are unlimited. The Sharks haven't managed to recover from their disastrous start to the season. Give them time and they will be back to their winning ways - Maybe not necessarily this season, but next season. Most of the games they have lost have been very marginal which could have gone either way. So don't write them off. Again it will be a northern hemisphere team that will win the URC. I'll be supporting any northern hemisphere team who plays against a SA except if the Sharks are playing a northern hemisphere team.
