URC: Final Prediction!
This weekend sees the URC season finale, which takes place in Cape Town once again, and the Stormers look like favourites to lift the trophy for a second consecutive season.
Here is my URC pick for the final this weekend.
Instead, I’m looking at my pool standings, which are generally slightly disappointing! I have a sniff of a gold medal in one pool, but picking the Stormers isn’t going to get me very far, given that most people will be doing the same.
I’m backing Munster to win. The Irish side are more than capable of an upset, as they demonstrated by sneaking past Leinster in the semi-finals, and they’ll play without fear away from home with little to lose. Munster by 2

Stormers v Munster
The Stormers will start as slight favourites in front of their own crowd, but then Munster won in Cape Town just last month, so it really could go either way. It’s a final after all, and the additional pressure with so much at stake makes it difficult to predict.Instead, I’m looking at my pool standings, which are generally slightly disappointing!
