Upcoming 2026-27 Predictor tournaments on Superbru Football

With the World Cup on it's first rest day since beginning on June 11th, we thought now might be a good time to run through the other upcoming football Predictor games we'll have available very soon.

Many of you that have discovered the Superbru Football app for this year's World Cup have been asking which leagues we'll be covering for 2026-27, so here's your answer!

The graphic below shows the tournaments that will be live in the next month or so. Note that the list is not total, as tournament's such as the FA Cup and Australia's A-League which begin later in the season will also be covered.

We're always open to adding additional leagues if we receive sufficient interest. To let us know which competitions you'd like to see covered, simply leave a comment.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 31 July: Scottish Premiership

After one of the tightest title races in recent memory where Hearts were on the verge of a first league triumph since 1960 before losing out to Celtic on the final day, how will this season play out?

Martin O'Neill, who stepped in to rescue that title for Celtic, has now signed a permanent deal. Derek McInnes, who led Hearts last season, has now joined Rangers. Hearts have replaced him with Belgian coach Wouter Vrancken who was in charge of St.Truiden last season.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 14 August: EFL Championship

This season, West Ham, Burnley and Wolves will feature in England's second tier after being relegated from the Premier League last season. Coventry, Ipswich and Hull City were the teams promoted.

Coming up from League One, we have Lincoln City, Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers. Lincoln are back in the second tier for the first time since 1961 and will appear on Superbru for the first time!

Our EFL Championship Predictor game will be live soon.

🇪🇸 14 August: LaLiga

After Barcelona comfortably won last year's title, Real Madrid need a reset this summer and they've decided the return of Jose Mourinho is the way to go. A very bold call from Florentino Perez.

Excitingly, three pretty iconic clubs are back in the top flight in Spain this year as Racing Santander, Deportivo A Coruna and Malaga are the three sides promoted from the Segunda.

Though kick-off is likely to be August 14th, only a few matches will be played that weekend as clubs such as the big three will have their opening matches postponed by a week or two to allow for squad members involved in the latter stages of the World Cup some additional rest time.

Our LaLiga Predictor game will be live soon.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 21 August: Premier League

Arsenal finally ended their long wait for a Premier League title last season, but can Mikel Arteta and his team defend it? A very intriguing season ahead as Arsenal are 1 of what feels about 3 clubs that haven't changed their manager this summer.

As our most popular football Predictor (outside of World Cups!), the Premier League Predictor is already live and it's great to see many of you getting leagues created.

Plenty more preview content to come once the World Cup is complete.

🇫🇷 21 August: Ligue 1

You don't get any points for predicting which team will win the league title in France, but competition for the European places behind PSG has been fierce in recent seasons with Lens, Lille, and Lyon earning Champions League qualification last season ahead of Marseille, Rennes and Monaco.

Nantes and Metz were relegated, they've been replaced by Troyes and Le Mans from Ligue 2.

Our Ligue 1 Predictor game will be live soon.

🇮🇹 22 August: Serie A

Inter may have won the Scudetto quite comfortably last season, but it was chaos behind them on the table and both AC Milan and Juventus missed out on Champions League qualification due to Como's rapid rise.

The classic Italian manager merry-go-round has been in action since, with Max Allegri leaving Milan for Napoli, for example, and Maurizio Sarri now at Atalanta, but there is also a new face; it will be very interesting to see how Ruben Amorim gets on with Milan.

Our Serie A Predictor game will be live soon.

🇩🇪 28 August: Bundesliga

Completing our coverage of Europe's traditional top 5 leagues, the Bundesliga kicks-off slightly later on August 28th. After a particularly dominant 2025-26 campaign, champions Bayern will start things off against Stuttgart.

A couple of interesting new manager appointments include RB Leipzig hiring Martin Demichellis and Bayer Leverkusen appointing former Toulouse boss Carles Martinez.

Our Bundesliga Predictor game will be live soon.

Once we reach September, further Predictor games will begin for the Champions League and Europa League, as well as the WSL.

Whether you're keen to play one of the above tournaments or every single one of them, we hope they add to your enjoyment of the 2026-27 season!

Please consider adding Liga Portugal Predictor for 2026/27.

There is definitely interest from Portuguese football fans, and I would personally create and run a private league if it became available. Portugal has a strong football culture, passionate clubs, and enough weekly unpredictability to make it a really fun Predictor tournament.

I'm sure many users would join if Superbru gave it a chance.

Hi Harold, thanks for the comment! Definitely open to bringing it back since we've covered the MLS before as you say. Hopefully this World Cup has sparked good interest in North America and the upcoming switch to a summer-spring calendar in 2027 will line things up nicely with the European leagues. 8 Jul 15:50

Loving the buzz around the upcoming predictor tournaments! ⚽️ If HQ ever decides to expand soccer leagues, a friendly nudge: please stick with the Premier Leagues in each nation. Keeps things top‑tier, consistent. After all, we want to predict the best of the best, not get lost in the lower‑league shuffle 😉

What's the problem ? Many people on Superbru support lower league clubs, Why shouldn't they be given a chance 8 Jul 21:58

Agreed. I follow Stockport County as a second team. It's worth trying. 8 Jul 23:00

Fair play to Red Col 1999 and The Gunslinger — lower leagues do have chaos value. But I'm sticking with the big guns. Top‑tier comps are where the spotlight, stats, and banter shine brightest. Too many smaller leagues and the Predictor risks turning into a spreadsheet marathon. Keep it elite, keep it sharp, keep it Superbru. 9 Jul 06:34

@JJ- There are a lot of leagues, but it might be worth a pop for one season to see how it works out in terms of interest and time consumed in playing it. Good luck folks in whatever sport you're predicting on. 9 Jul 09:11

Hi Jack

a Few years ago the Dutch football clubs opened on Superbru, but was closed before it's started

Maybe the support for the Nederlands were to low

Yeah agree with some comments above - likely the best leagues in Europe not covered are Portugal and Netherlands, certainly by coeffiicent. I enjoyed the MLS too when it was active.

It wiii likely be my first time playing the Championship too, bringing my leagues played to 7 next season (lol) plus CL and EL and FA Cup

I'll try any sport. It's always worth a pop. When I first tried the AFL, I didn't have a clue. Some of is down to luck and some of it is skill and research. There are no certainties in any sport.😎

I stick to football as I have little interest or understanding of any of the other sports here, lol. I like tennis but more as a casual fan, I don't follow the slams. I never liked golf, cricket, rugby or anything like that.

Be hilarious if I have them a go and won a big pool through sheer luck, lol. 9 Jul 01:55

And like you say, this site is part skill, part luck. Many times we will read a game well but variance causes a wrong, especially in a sport as low scoring as football.

Think about, say, Man City v Liverpool. Say someone predicts Man City to win 1-0. It might be 0-0 in the last minute and City hit the post, or have a goal ruled out by VAR. That's a zero sum game of an exact becoming a wrong. Or in the other direction, someone who predicted 0-0 or 1-1 fortunately gets an exact or a close.

That's why, while having a good long-term record shows skill, we shouldn't be too boastful about it either, as there's a reasonable element of luck and variance, in the football games especially. 9 Jul 01:58

You have the groups sewn up, I think. But no time to relax until it's over. I'm in the top 50%. I'm doing well this year, at the moment. The sem-finals are hard predict, but I get through the next round unscaved, I should win some groups. (referring to Wimbledon) 9 Jul 02:58

I know they're a big drain on SB Admin's resources, but the Daily Fantasies are sorely missed. They reward effort, intelligence and football knowledge far more than the Predictors, which can be a bit of a lottery.

It depends what you mean. You can fluke one, two, maybe three high finishes in predictor games. But over time you cannot fraud a strong career.

I agree, though, I'd like to see the odds based fantasies come back. 9 Jul 09:54

maybe you can also consider adding the uefa conference league. i am sure this will definitely be one of the most difficult football competitions to predict since there are a lot of small and unknown clubs around europe involved in this club competition every season.
