The Rugby Championship 2022: Round 2 Predictions

This weekend sees the same set of fixtures as last week, which should make for some easy picks.
Here are my Rugby Championship predictions for Round 2.
South Africa v New Zealand
The All Blacks were totally outplayed by the Springboks in the first Test, and there’s little to suggest that we won’t see the same again this weekend. It’s at Ellis Park at a higher altitude, so New Zealand are likely to find it tougher going if anything. Whilst the visitors have been struggling for form, I don’t think it will take too much to change their fortunes such is the depth of talent in New Zealand, but a home win feels like a safe pick here.
South Africa by 8Argentina v Australia
Last week’s match was a high-scoring win for the Wallabies, and I expect more of the same this weekend. I can’t see the Pumas improving enough to turn things around that quickly.
Australia by 13
Aussies by 10
Seeing as I'm in a hole after backing NZ last time, I may as well keep digging! NZ by 1. Some AB's know they are possibly playing for their careers today.
I hope you can fix it in time for Rd 3. Everything is now back up for grabs! Those bonus points could prove crucial. 15 Aug 15:37
