The Rugby Championship 2022: Round 1 Predictions

The opening round of the Rugby Championship should be fascinating, particularly the first match with the besieged All Blacks taking on the Springboks in Nelspruit.

Here are my Rugby Championship predictions for Round 1.
South Africa v New Zealand
The All Blacks were beaten by an outstanding Ireland team, but they looked decidedly ordinary and short of ideas and are now under huge pressure to perform. Ireland's game is similar to South Africa, with a brutal defence, clinical kicking game and a ruthless efficiency across the park, and it's not what New Zealand need to restore their confidence. I think this will be a home win and more misery for the visitors.
South Africa by 6Argentina v Australia
This is a tricky pick, and the Pumas' record against the Wallabies is relatively poor - they have just 1 win and 2 draws in the last 13 matches home and away. Australia have a few injury issues, but still look like the stronger squad on paper.

The word here in NZ is if ABs lose in SA the NZRFZU are expecting Foster to hand in his resignation. No pressure Fozzie!!!

Bokke aren't fooled by their wet nappy antiks. so they're going to kick ass and thats that. we live in a country where its shoot first and ask questions later. Our boys need this win ????
