Superbru 6: European quarter-finals headline this weekend's rugby
Last week I managed 5 out of 6, and it was the Bulls that surprised me by winning away at Bayonne.
This week, we’re into the European Cup quarter-finals, the Womens Six Nations resumes and Super Rugby Pacific continues.
Here are my Superbru 6 predictions for the games I have picked out this weekend.

This is a tough pick to kick things off on Friday morning, with the Crusaders looking back on form and the Hurricanes drifting a little in mid-table. I’m going to pick a home win, because the Canes should have beaten the Blues last week, and if one or two of the missed shots at goal had gone over, I wouldn’t hesitate in picking the home side. Prediction: Hurricanes by 2
The top two Aussie teams go head-to-head here. The Brumbies have had the upper hand in recent meetings, but the Reds are unbeaten at home this season, and I suspect home advantage will give them the edge here. Prediction: Reds by 3
Edinburgh v Bulls - EPCR Challenge Cup
Edinburgh are usually very tough to beat in front of their own fans, but they spoilt that reputation forever when they lost to the Zebre in February. I won’t underestimate the Bulls again, and I’m tipping them for the win this week. Prediction: Bulls by 6
Bordeaux vs. Munster - Investec Champions Cup
Munster saw off La Rochelle last week, and now face another difficult test in the shape of Bordeaux. The French side sit 2nd in the Top 14 and have been convincing winners in all of their European fixtures so far this term, and although Munster are renowned for causing an upset in this competition, I’m going with a home win. Prediction: Bordeaux by 7
Ireland v England - Womens Six Nations
This fixture isn’t quite as evenly-matched in the Women’s game as it is in the Men’s. Last season, England won 88-10, and before that it was a 48-0 win in Dublin. It’s all about the margin here, and I’m going for comfortable but not ridiculous. Prediction: England by 38
These two teams know each other very well of course, and normally the default pick in the French league is a home win. You have to go all the way back to 2016 to find the last away win between these teams, but Toulouse are 1st in the Top 14 and they have blown everyone away in the European Cup, and so I think I’m going to brave a pick for the Away side here. Prediction: Toulouse by 2

Edinburgh to show the Bulls how it\'s done and give them a hiding. Edinburgh by more than 15. All others pretty straight forward (At least for the EPCR and Champions Cup matches).
