Super Rugby Round 14 Predictions!
Round 13 was relatively successful, although that GSP still eludes us! Five from seven was better than the community average of 4.18, thanks to picking the Chiefs to beat the Stormers (48% predicted that one), and the Bulls to beat the Sharks (64%).
This week I'm feeling confident. Here are my predictions for Round 14 of Super Rugby.
It's a GSP in the bag, surely? Let me know what you think.

This week I'm feeling confident. Here are my predictions for Round 14 of Super Rugby.
Hurricanes v Reds
An easy pick to ease us into it, where the Hurricanes will beat the Reds. They've won the last four against the Queenslanders by an average of 16 points, but I suspect this will be more. The Reds lost to the Sunwolves last week, remember. Prediction: Hurricanes by 31Sunwolves v Stormers
Buoyed by their first win of the season, can the Sunwolves make it two in a row? No. The Stormers will bounce back from their first home defeat of the year, and they'll score a few tries. Prediction: Stormers by 18Blues v Crusaders
The Blues are yet to win at Eden Park this season, which takes away any edge in terms of home advantage, and they have lost six in a row against the Crusaders. The defending champions are on a roll, despite a scare last weekend, and they should win this one too. Prediction: Crusaders by 16Waratahs v Highlanders
The Tahs came close to a huge upset last weekend, scoring four unanswered tries in the first half-hour against the Crusaders. But they still ended up losing the match, and now have to pick themselves up to take on another kiwi side. I'm not yet ready to predict an Aussie win over a Kiwi team. Prediction: Highlanders by 7Sharks v Chiefs
This is quite a tricky pick, with both sides recording a mixed bag of results. The Sharks have been thrashed by the Bulls, but then routed the Highlanders, whilst the Chiefs have beaten the Stormers and Highlanders, but also lost to the Jaguares at home. If in doubt, pick the New Zealand team. Prediction: Chiefs by 4Lions v Brumbies
The Lions are back at home after a difficult tour, and have two games in South Africa before the break to re-establish themselves as title contenders. The Brumbies visit Ellis Park this weekend, and they are awful, so the Lions will win. Prediction: Lions by 16Jaguares v Bulls
A remarkable tour with four consecutive wins has put the Jaguares in contention for the playoffs, and two home games coming up should help them reinforce their credentials. The Bulls are not great travellers, and it's no surprise to see that the home team has won both previous fixtures between these two teams. Prediction: Jaguares by 8It's a GSP in the bag, surely?
