Here we are at the quarter-finals stage, and there’s a chance that 4 New Zealand teams make it to the semis.

Here are my Super Rugby predictions for this weekend.

Crusaders v Reds

The Crusaders seem to be timing their run quite nicely, and I suspect they’ll beat the Reds by more than they did last week. Crusaders by 18

Chiefs v Waratahs

It has been a great season for the Tahs, but I think it will end in Hamilton against a team that usually beats them home or away. Chiefs by 13

Blues v Highlanders

The Blues’ second string kept their winning streak alive last week, and the table-toppers should win this to book a home semi-final. Blues by 13

Brumbies v Hurricanes

The Brumbies have limped into the Top 4 with 3 defeats in a row, but then again the Hurricanes lost to the Force last week. It’s safer to pick the home team I think. Brumbies by 2

Crusaders for a close win. Reds will make it hard for the Crusaders this game. Crusaders with 6.
Chiefs for a very close win. Waratahs have less injured players and game-plan are tight. Chiefs with 1.
Blues for a close win, but do not write off the Highlanders. They can always give an easy upset on their day. Blues with 4, but if an upset, Highlanders with 2.
Brumbies for the win. Both teams had a bad couple of weeks and losses, but Brumbies home are hard. After the Hurricanes has lost a few "must win" games, i think Brumbies with 5, but also i think Hurricanes with 3.

Let`s see what will happen this weekend. I hope for 4 NZ teams in the semi finals, but anything can happen on the day, All the best to them all!

Brus lower down need to start gambling on 'upsets' from now on really. Going with the concensus will only offer marginal gains compared to being in a 30% or lower minority. Time for head over heart over stats if you want to have ANY chance of honours. Who cares if you come Top 12% instead of 15% by going with the flow? When you could keep your hopes alive of a Top 10% globally & club medal points at the death. Whatever you have been doing so far hasn't worked so time to be pragmatic. Hurricanes by 1.

I'm with you James Mega for all of them, I mean Saders have their cream of the crop players on 3 Top Wingers who normally get 1 to 3 try's per game, and the rest are not bad either, definitely a Mega Score I've got them by, 48, 2 try;s each and 2 Penalties.
