Super Rugby Final Prediction!

Super Rugby comes to an end this weekend with the Crusaders hosting the Jaguares in Christchurch. My Superbru challenge has fizzled out a little over the past few weeks, with most matches going the way of the favourite offering little chance to catch up.

And if you're behind going into this weekend, you have next to no chance of catching up I would say, so just sit back and enjoy the final and rue those missed opportunities earlier in the year.

The men from Canterbury have won the last two Super Rugby titles, whilst the Argentinian side has never made the semi-finals before this season, let alone the final.

The Jaguares are much improved however, despite losing Nicolas Sanchez, and as an England fan, their form concerns me ahead of the Rugby World Cup, given that many of these players will pull on the Pumas jersey with Argentina in the same group as both England and France.

But realistically, this final is only going one way.

The Crusaders have won their last 30 (THIRTY!) home matches in a row, and they have beaten the Jaguares on the two occasions they have played previously - by 17 points in 2016 and by 26 points in 2018. The bookies are giving the home team a 13-point handicap.

I'm not necessarily saying it will be easy for the Crusaders, and the Jaguares can compete up front and potentially give them a scare, particularly with Ryan Crotty absent in midfield.

But the Crusaders know how to win, much like the All Blacks, and they'll find a way to do so.

My Superbru Prediction: Crusaders by 8

Of course, we have plenty of rugby picking still to come at Superbru this year with The Rugby Championship and World Cup just around the corner. You can join our predictor games for each of these tournaments via the links below and if you head to the 'Start a Pool' section you can quickly transfer your Super Rugby pools directly to those tournaments to keep things nice and easy.

It would be amazing if the Jaguares can take this one just it is always one way traffic New Zeeland teams are good but the Jaguares are in New Zeeland to make a statement and give the BNZ Crusaders a scare.BNZ Crusaders by 9 points.

Its the first time ever that i have played Superbru Super Rugby without watching one game. I am finding Super Rugby to be extremely boring at the moment. Nothing like it used to be. I think the Currie Cup is going to be even worst.
