Premier League: Round 26 Predictions
I ended up with a respectable 7/12 in Round 25 following the expected midweek wins for Man City and Liverpool, so it's now on to this weekend's games where we have an 8-match fixture list due to the League Cup Final taking place on Sunday.
Though we don't run a League Cup Predictor on Superbru, for what it's worth, I think that will be a fairly close match that could well see extra time but you'd expect Liverpool to come out on top.
On to the more important, relevant predictions though! Here are my picks for each match in Round 26 of our Premier League Predictor game.
Good luck with your own Round 26 predictions and feel free to leave your own thoughts in the comments!

Aston Villa vs. Nottingham Forest
That win at Fulham was a really important one for Villa, especially since Ollie Watkins managed a confidence boosting brace, so I think they'll come out on top here as well now. Forest also had a vital victory last time out but they're definitely underdogs at Villa Park. Aston Villa 3-1 Nottingham ForestBrighton vs. Everton
Everton are really struggling for wins at the moment, and so while it's impossible to forget their result in this fixture last season, I think you have to go with Brighton. We aren't yet at the stage where the Seagulls will be prioritising what is another very exciting Europa League fixture for them as they've drawn AS Roma in today's Last 16 draw! Brighton 2-1 EvertonCrystal Palace vs. Burnley
Home advantage, favourable opposition and the first game for a brand new manager? This has to be a win for Palace, doesn't it? I'm excited to see what Oliver Glasner brings to Selhurst Park and it won't be easy for Burnley to spoil the party. Crystal Palace 2-0 BurnleyManchester United vs. Fulham
Today's news that Rasmus Hojlund is injured makes this slightly more tricky, but Joao Palhinha is an even bigger miss for Fulham in my opinion so I'm sticking with a home win. It never tends to be too comfortable for United this season, but they're the more likely winners. Manchester United 2-1 FulhamBournemouth vs. Manchester City
City have beaten Bournemouth in literally all of their previous Premier League meetings, so it feels like you'd have to be very brave to back an upset here despite them looking slightly less machine like in their last two outings. Bournemouth are a decent side and could cause issues with their press but you'd expect City to be able to cope. Bournemouth 1-3 Manchester CityArsenal vs. Newcastle
It's possible there's a slight Champions League hangover for Arsenal after their disappointment in Porto, but Newcastle are conceding far too many goals for me to pick them for an upset in this game. Domestically, Arsenal are scoring goals for fun and I think they'll bag at least a couple more here. Arsenal 3-1 NewcastleWolves vs. Sheffield United
I'm slightly wary that they seem to perform best when underdogs, but Wolves have been excellent this season and you have to back them against Sheffield United. Only 2 defeats in their last 8 is some going given the fixtures that they've had. Wolves 2-0 Sheffield UnitedWest Ham vs. Brentford
A really nasty prediction to finish with. West Ham seem in a really tough spot at the moment but it's also hard to have much faith in Brentford. The Bees' form guide doesn't make for great reading, but looking at their fixtures more closely, you can see that their last four defeats were all very tough matches. I'm tempted to go with an away win, particularly since Brentford always seem to get the better of West Ham. West Ham 1-2 BrentfordGood luck with your own Round 26 predictions and feel free to leave your own thoughts in the comments!
