Premier League Fantasy Football Tips: Round Seven
Round 7 of the Premier League begins with a Saturday lunchtime fixture between Sheffield United and Liverpool. The Reds travel to Bramall Lane hoping to extend (at least temporarily) the 5-point lead they already have at the top of the table with champions Manchester City travelling to Goodison Park on Saturday evening. City stole the fantasy show last week as they smashed 8 goals past Watford meaning numerous players picked up big points for various goals and assists.
Using the average taken from the thousands of picks to have been made in our main game - the Premier League Predictor - we're able to provide you with a 'predicted goals' tally for each team in every round of the competition and we believe this can come in handy when choosing between certain players for your fantasy points.
Interestingly, Arsenal are likely to score more goals than Manchester United in this week's headline game based on this community data, while Brighton's very low PG tally is also noteworthy since opponents Chelsea are yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season.
Mason Mount
Along with Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount has been one of Chelsea's strongest attacking threats so far this season and both players were rested for the Blues' midweek game against Grimsby meaning they should be ready to fire against Brighton on Saturday. Frank Lampard's team are in desperate need of a home league win and this looks like a golden opportunity. Chelsea will have a lot of the ball and Mount should also get chances through pressing (which he is very good at) since Brighton will almost certainly attempt to play out from the back at Stamford Bridge.
Ben Chilwell
My defensive tip for this week is Leicester's Ben Chilwell as he faces a Newcastle team that are struggling to score goals. We saw his fellow teammate and full-back Ricardo Pereira find the net against Tottenham last time out and whilst Pereira remains a great option in this week too, I feel it could be Chilwell's turn to chip in with some attacking returns. As a pair, Leicester's full-backs are probably only second to Liverpool's in terms of both defensive and attacking quality across the entire Premier League in my opinion.
Raul Jimenez
My brave pick of the week, and it would be very brave since there's a packed Saturday daily fantasy fixture list, is Wolves' Raul Jimenez. Everyone knows Jimenez was a fantasy machine last season but his team are struggling so far in this campaign. However, this week Wolves face a team that are struggling even more in Watford and three points are a must at Molineux. As the above charts show, general opinion is that the hosts are very likely to score and when they do, Jimenez is often involved. Watford have been awful defensively so if you are looking for a player that won't be picked by many in this round, he's worth considering.
Best of luck to you all with your fantasy teams this weekend.

After an eventful PL weekend, here's a look at the best performing XI in our fantasy game
If it wasn't for the max of 2 players per club, there'd be a lot more City players following their monster 8-0 win over Watford!#FPL #Superbru pic.twitter.com/xgTVOgshE5

Round Seven: Predicted Goals (PG)
It's no surprise to see Pep Guardiola's team at the top of the predicted goals charts again following that 8-0 hammering in Round Six, with Everton's shock 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United last week also contributing to belief that City should score goals at Goodison Park on Saturday. There aren't many shocks in terms of these PG charts with other 'big teams' including Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham expected to score more than once in their relatively kind fixtures.Interestingly, Arsenal are likely to score more goals than Manchester United in this week's headline game based on this community data, while Brighton's very low PG tally is also noteworthy since opponents Chelsea are yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season.
Round Seven: Players to Consider
With the above data and notes in mind, here are my tips for this weekend's action. As always, I'm attempting to look a little outside of the box whilst also sticking to this data, and this week may not be the worst week to take a few risks if you are in need of some differential points as Liverpool and City both won't find their games easy in my opinion.Mason Mount
