Predictions: Jack's Round 38 Premier League Picks
We've reached the final round of the 2025-26 Premier League season so for those of you still in with a chance of victory in your private leagues this season, good luck! I can only dream of being in such a position 😁
However, that is of course because I've been saving myself for the World Cup Predictor which is now less than 3 weeks away. Once you've made your final Premier League picks, make sure you've joined our World Cup game.
Before I get into this final round, congratulations to Arsenal. It's impossible to win the Premier League without deserving to and the club deserve real credit for sticking with Mikel Arteta through those difficult early seasons and up to now.
🇧🇷🔑 The Brazil key will be awarded to the top performer in Round 38 as part of our Road to the World Cup campaign.
The Brazil key is definitely a cool one to win and I've been giving out a lotttt of other keys lately so make sure you keep visiting the Road to the World Cup hub to keep up to date.
Here are my thoughts on Round 38!

It's hard to predict these final two games outright, because I think the outcomes depend on how each game is going in real time. E.g. If Spurs go ahead early, West Ham may just slump to a loss, but if not the opposite could happen. Ultimately, I think Spurs will stay up because they'll match West Ham's result. Of course, that could be them both losing, but I'm going to go with a draw in this one which will be enough regardless of West Ham's result. It's hard to back Spurs to win when they haven't at home since December. Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Everton
Good luck to you all with your final predictions! I hope you've enjoyed the Premier League Predictor this season and look forward to continuing the conversation with you all throughout the World Cup!

Last round
4/10 with 6.5 points. An exact in the final Chelsea vs. Tottenham match saved me from a total shocker; there are certain Premier League fixtures where you have to just pick based on history rather than form and that's one of them.Road the World Cup update
🇯🇴🔑 The Jordan key was won by 'Gus' - Angus Warden from Australia - who had 21.5 points in Round 37. A magnificent effort.🇧🇷🔑 The Brazil key will be awarded to the top performer in Round 38 as part of our Road to the World Cup campaign.

Here are my thoughts on Round 38!

Brighton vs. Manchester United
Brighton are pushing for Europe, Manchester United are pushing for Bruno Fernandes to get the outright assist record. I think there'll be goals, and Brighton should just edge it as the home side? Prediction: Brighton 3-2 Manchester UnitedBurnley vs. Wolves
Loser finishes bottom. Like many matches in this final round, this might just be decided by who wants it more. Burnley are probably slight favourites with home advantage but it's hard to make a strong case for either side and I think Wolves might manage a draw. Prediction: Burnley 1-1 WolvesCrystal Palace vs. Arsenal
A game that now doesn't matter one bit. Crystal Palace and certainly Oliver Glasner is probably slightly relived that he now won't get shamed for rotation ahead of the Conference League final. I'm going with Arsenal on that basis but it's obviously hard to gauge how much intensity they'll be playing with. Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 ArsenalFulham vs. Newcastle
This might well be Marco Silva's final game at Fulham but it seems he won't be giving everyone a heads up either way like Pep Guardiola has so I'm wondering if Fulham just continue their very ordinary end to the campaign. Newcastle are working to improve their league position in these final weeks so I'm going with them. Prediction: Fulham 1-2 NewcastleLiverpool vs. Brentford
This match feeling a bit like a Mo Salah testimonial for Liverpool might hand Brentford an opportunity here, but it still feels more likely that Salah and Andy Robertson will go out with a win. It's been a strange campaign for the Reds but I can see Salah going out with a goal or two. Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 BrentfordManchester City vs. Aston Villa
Obviously City would much rather be going for the title in this game, but now that they haven't won it, I'm sure supporters will be glad for the chance to have a full match in which to pay tribute to John Stones, Bernardo Silva and now Pep Guardiola. Aston Villa's season is already confirmed as a huge success after Wednesday night and Unai Emery has apologised for the fact that his team basically aren't going to be ready for this game so I'll be going with a home win. Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 Aston VillaNottingham Forest vs. Bournemouth
Nottingham Forest have been excellent towards the end of this campaign under Vitor Pereira but I'm already intrigued as to how next season starts after he had a similarly good mid-season impact at Wolves before a dreadful start to this campaign. I think this will be a close, entertaining game and since a point is enough for Bournemouth to seal 6th spot which could well result in Champions League football, I'm going with a draw. Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-2 BournemouthSunderland vs. Chelsea
A Europa League place is also still possible for Chelsea, but this looks a bit like a straight shootout for a place in the Europa Conference League and if that's the case, I feel like Sunderland might be a bit more motivated than Chelsea? The Blues weren't very good on Tuesday night, it's just that Tottenham were worse, and when you look at Chelsea's form prior to that victory, I think Sunderland can win this. Prediction: Sunderland 2-0 ChelseaTottenham vs. Everton
Right then, these final two games have a totally different vibe to the rest of the round. As I've implied when writing about Chelsea, Tottenham really missed an opportunity to get themselves safe with at least a point at Stamford Bridge, so now it's all about how composed they can be in a final day unlike any other that their players will have experienced. West Ham vs. Leeds
Following on from the above, I can only really see West Ham winning this game if Spurs fall behind early and the London Stadium ends up bouncing as a result. Otherwise, Leeds have looked like a far better team than West Ham lately, so that balances out West Ham being the team with everything to play for and I'm going to go with a draw in this one too. Prediction: West Ham 1-1 LeedsGood luck to you all with your final predictions!
