Predictions: Jack's Round 10 Premier League Picks
We have a pretty tasty looking Premier League fixture list for Round 10. Spurs vs. Chelsea is always fun, Bournemouth look as if they can give City a real game, and most of the 3pm kick-offs that we begin with have a fair amount of intrigue.
Here are my thoughts on Round 10.

I honestly have no idea what to pick. Aston Villa have looked much more like themselves of late, and after beating Tottenham and Manchester City in their last two games, they're clearly capable of beating this current Liverpool side. I'd be more confident backing Liverpool if Slot decides to prioritise defence a little more by selecting Andy Robertson at left back and perhaps even Joe Gomez at right back if needed, but he seems unlikely to do so which means there should be goals. Prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Aston Villa

Last round
7.5 points. Not very good, but decent considering I only had 3/10! It's looking like I'm going to need a very strong second half of the season like last year. Here are my thoughts on Round 10.

Brighton vs. Leeds
Brighton ought to win this and I'm backing them to do so, but I think it'll be close. The Seagulls never tend to blow teams away in their favourable fixtures and they almost always give up a goal or two so I think Leeds will manage at least one having created plenty of chances even in recent defeats. Prediction: Brighton 2-1 LeedsBurnley vs. Arsenal
I'm obviously going with Arsenal here. After a fantastic October for the Gunners, this is a kind start to November on paper, and I think they'll keep Burnley at arm's length throughout. Prediction: Burnley 0-2 ArsenalCrystal Palace vs. Brentford
I've been slightly surprised to find that I've quite enjoyed watching Brentford in recent weeks as they've been executing their plans really effectively to prove lots of us wrong, but this match might be beyond them if Crystal Palace are close to their best. They'll need an away win somewhere other than West Ham before I feel comfortable backing them on the road. Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 BrentfordFulham vs. Wolves
There won't be too many neutrals tuning in for this one but it's a must-win for Fulham after 4 defeats on the bounce. Wolves are obviously in even greater need of points but Fulham will want to avoid any feeling of being involved in a relegation scrap this season. If they don't win this match, that's arguably what they're in. Prediction: Fulham 1-0 WolvesNottingham Forest vs. Manchester United
I'm still incredibly conscious that just as we all start feeling confident in predicting Manchester United to win, they won't, but they proved me wrong last week with a home win over Brighton so I think they'll be OK here against a Forest side that carries less attacking threat at present. It wouldn't surprise me if Forest manage a point in Dyche's first home league game in charge, but Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha were shrewd additions in the summer given their PL experience and they're always going to be a threat capable of grabbing a winner in a close contest. Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Manchester UnitedTottenham vs. Chelsea
Chelsea almost always win at Tottenham, and with Spurs' current home form, I'm backing them to do so again. Derbies between these two are always a must-watch and there should be chances at both ends. Tottenham's win at Everton last week was a great result that they should build on but I'm just not convinced looking at their home results. Prediction: Tottenham 1-3 ChelseaLiverpool vs. Aston Villa
The only certain thing about this game is that it'll be an interesting watch. I was surprised that Arne Slot just threw away Liverpool's midweek Cup game against Palace, it was almost as if he was hiding his big players from another potential defeat, and it means there's even more pressure to win this match.I honestly have no idea what to pick.
West Ham vs. Newcastle
I'd be surprised if Newcastle don't win this. The Magpies are yet to win on the road in the PL this season but West Ham is about the best place to go when in need of a win at the moment. They've been shocking at the London Stadium. Prediction: West Ham 0-2 NewcastleManchester City vs. Bournemouth
I'm still going with Manchester City, but Bournemouth could cause real damage if the hosts aren't at their best because the Cherries are able to play with freedom and have little to lose sitting up in 2nd. I think City will be able to outgun them at the Etihad, though. Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 BournemouthSunderland vs. Everton
After weeks of complimenting Sunderland but not actually picking them, I'm backing the Black Cats this time, so we all know what happens now. I thought they were excellent last week at Chelsea, so I'm not sure Everton can end their home unbeaten run having lost their own against Tottenham last week. Prediction: Sunderland 2-1 EvertonBest of luck with your own Round 10 predictions! Feel free to leave them in the comments below.
