Premier League Predictor: Round 4 Predictions
We've had a few days to rest after the start of the Premier League Predictor with the international break providing teams with a chance to reflect on the first few rounds, but we're now into what is set to be a very busy month of club football with the UEFA competitions starting up to add to the league fixtures.
In case you haven't seen, our Predictor games for the Champions League and Europa League are now live so make sure you've joined those ahead of kick-off! The Champions League begins on Tuesday.
For now, the focus is on Round 4 of the Premier League. Here are my thoughts on each game. Feel free to leave your own views in the comments.

Are Tottenham good enough to take advantage and win though after losing their last two home meetings with Arsenal? I still have my doubts. Arsenal should still be solid defensively and pretty much any team gets good chances to score against Ange Postecoglou's Spurs so it's still a tough game to call. Because of Arsenal's absentees, I'm going with a draw but I'm interested to see the starting lineups and how Arsenal are looking. If Odegaard is miraculously fit again or something then I may change my mind, as. much as I try not to ever change any picks! Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Arsenal
How do your predictions compare? Good luck in Round 4!

Southampton vs. Manchester United
United really ought to win this game, but I'm not sure any of us have too much faith in them and Southampton will feel this is an opportunity to get a first point (or 3) on the board in the post-international break lunchtime kick-off slot. I think it will be close, but I feel Manchester United will find a winner in the end. Southampton's approach of looking to play possession football right across the pitch despite being an underdog is likely to favour the visitors in my opinion. Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Manchester UnitedBrighton vs. Ipswich
Brighton have been excellent so far this season so it certainly makes sense to back them in this game. Ipswich did well to get a first point on the board last time out and I've said a few times that I think they'll be competitive this season but this is a very difficult away fixture that I can only really see the Seagulls winning. Prediction: Brighton 3-0 IpswichCrystal Palace vs. Leicester
It hasn't been the best start to the season for Crystal Palace in terms of results, but I think they've built a really good squad during the transfer window and I expect them to get stronger and stronger as we go through the rounds. Having failed to get a result against West Ham at home, this needs to be a win for the Eagles and I'd be surprised if they don't manage one. Leicester's chances of survival received an almighty boost at the start of the international break with the news that they've managed to avoid a points deduction for financial breaches on a technicality, but it's still likely to be a struggle for them to remain in the top flight. Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-0 LeicesterFulham vs. West Ham
This is a very difficult pick and is therefore likely to be quite decisive on your leaderboards if you manage to pull off an Exact. It feels as if all three potential outcomes are similarly likely to me, so I'm going to side with Fulham as the home team just because it feels slightly safer. West Ham's away win at Palace has me thinking twice because that was a great win on the road but Marco Silva's team tend to be fairly solid at Craven Cottage. Prediction: Fulham 2-1 West HamLiverpool vs. Nottingham Forest
There's less hesitation over this one. Liverpool have been very good so far and even if they hadn't been playing well, it takes a lot to go against them at Anfield. Nottingham Forest also deserve credit for their unbeaten three rounds but this fixture is a level up from what they've faced so far. Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Nottingham ForestManchester City vs. Brentford
Erling Haaland alone has scored as many goals as any other Premier League team so far this season, and with City about to get even stronger when they welcome Rodri and Phil Foden back properly, it's hard to see the Norweigan slowing down. Brentford have done a great job of picking up maximum points from their home fixtures so far but if they go behind early in this game I can see them falling away a bit and looking ahead to future fixtures. Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 BrentfordAston Villa vs. Everton
I still can't quite believe that Everton vs. Bournemouth game in Round 3. In terms of team and fan morale, that's got to be about as crushing as it gets when you also consider the opening couple of results, so it's difficult to predict a Toffees win on Superbru until we've seen them begin to turn things around. Villa have been solid enough so far and should be taking the points. Prediction: Aston Villa 3-1 EvertonBournemouth vs. Chelsea
Chelsea are another club that it's hard to have much faith in, and it sounds as if the off-field circus at the club will continue for quite some time now that their owners have reportedly fallen out with one another, but I wonder if we'll actually see the Blues perform better on the road than at home. That's not just based on the few rounds we've seen so far, but on the pressure Chelsea's young players seem to feel in front of an increasingly impatient crowd at Stamford Bridge. Bournemouth are certainly strong enough to get a result from this game and it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see them win, but I'm going with a narrow Chelsea victory. Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 ChelseaTottenham vs. Arsenal
The North London derby is always a fixture to look forward to, and though it's the kind of game that you want both teams at full strength for, I am extra interested to see how this plays out because of the need for Mikel Arteta to change things up due to the unavailability of key players. With Declan Rice suspended and Martin Odegaard likely to be out injured, this is a huge opportunity for Tottenham as Arsenal just can't play their usual way without those two players in my opinion (particularly with Mikel Merino unable to step in for Rice as he's also injured).
Wolves vs. Newcastle
I'm never too confident in Newcastle on the road, but Wolves haven't been great at the start of this campaign and if the Magpies play to the level that we know they can then this should be an away win. I think Wolves will cause them some problems as the likes of Matheus Cunha, Hee-Chan Hwang and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde can be a handful with their pace and directness, but I'm not convinced by the hosts defensively so far and Newcastle might score a couple I think. Prediction: Wolves 1-2 NewcastleHow do your predictions compare? Good luck in Round 4!

Think similar but gone Bournemouth to get a draw with chelsea and arsenal to sneak the win (more heart than head), probably would take a draw at moment.

One should know after international break most clubs do not leave to the building. I expect most draws, exception of city, Liverpool

i guess that all the superbru players all go through good and bad times with their predictions in whatever competition they participate in. its impossible for a player to have a very wonderful performance all the time.

Went against my beloved Tricky Trees. Now I'm feeling lost in the Forest :(. Never expected that result (along with 99.9999% of Brus). Best that I had hopes for was a draw.
