Premier League Predictor: Round 15 Predictions
It was only last night that we saw Fulham defeat Brighton and Bournemouth beat Spurs, but another Premier League round begins tomorrow with the last ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park!
I had an average 5/10 in midweek which frustratingly didn't include any Exacts so let's hope for a better showing this weekend.

A few days ago, I was thinking this might be 2-2 since Chelsea have been drawing rather than winning the 'big games' in recent weeks but given how strong the Blues look offensively at the moment I think they should be disappointed with themselves if they don't win this game. Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Chelsea
Best of luck with your own predictions this weekend. How do your picks differ from the above?

Everton vs. Liverpool
I've just seen a pretty incredible stat on Twitter that over 130 years of Merseyside derbies at Goodison Park, Everton and Liverpool are currently level on 41 wins each so what a finale this should be at the famous old ground. We have very often seen draws between these two at Goodison in recent seasons but it's very difficult to look past Liverpool on this occasion. Under Arne Slot, the Reds have been scoring goals consistently so it seems unlikely that this will be 0-0 which is a problem for Everton who don't tend to score too often (unless they're playing Wolves, apparently!). Prediction: Everton 0-2 LiverpoolAston Villa vs. Southampton
With performances like they put in against Chelsea on Wednesday night, Southampton aren't going to add many points to the 5 that they have so far this season. They were terrible defensively. Now that Aston Villa are back to winning ways, they should be absolutely fine here. Prediction: Aston Villa 3-1 SouthamptonBrentford vs. Newcastle
There are some strong cases to be made for both teams winning this game as Brentford haven't ever actually beaten Newcastle in the Premier League before, but this feels like a great chance for them to in my opinion as their home form has been so strong. Newcastle obviously had a great result on Wednesday against Liverpool which could easily have been a win but they aren't as strong away from home generally and my gut says Brentford's strong home record can continue. Prediction: Brentford 2-1 NewcastleCrystal Palace vs. Manchester City
Crystal Palace are improving and will be pleased with their win at Ipswich on Tuesday but I'm going with Manchester City after they finally looked more like themselves on Wednesday. Kevin De Bruyne being fit to start again was always going to make a big difference and if he's able to go again here then it's going to be tough for that Palace midfield to compete, particularly with Adam Wharton still out. Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester CityManchester United vs. Nottingham Forest
I'm not fully convinced Manchester United will win this game, but Nottingham Forest's last couple of away games (admittedly against tough opposition) haven't really suggested they have the momentum for an upset. A home win seems likely. Prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Nottingham ForestFulham vs. Arsenal
Fulham played a big role in costing Arsenal the title last season by winning this fixture, but Arsenal look back to being very strong at the moment and I think you have to go with an away win unless you're confident the hosts can deny them any corners for the full 90. Prediction: Fulham 0-2 ArsenalIpswich vs. Bournemouth
I'm tempted by a draw here because Ipswich have had an extra couple of days rest compared to Bournemouth who beat Tottenham on Thursday, but the Tractor Boys have been quite disappointing in recent weeks and it's not as if Bournemouth have a packed fixture schedule overall. Anything can happen on the day but it's the Cherries who are a far stronger side. Prediction: Ipswich 1-2 BournemouthLeicester vs. Brighton
I watched most of Leicester's first game under Ruud van Nistelrooy on Tuesday and while that was an excellent result, they were second best for large parts and the Hammers really should have managed at least a point. Brighton have let me down in the past couple of rounds but let's hope it's a case of third time lucky because they ought to win at the King Power. Prediction: Leicester 1-3 BrightonTottenham vs. Chelsea
Much depends on team news for this game as Chelsea could put up quite a few goals if Tottenham end up with a backline even more depleted than the one we saw in the defeat at Bournemouth if Ben Davies is also now injured. Last season's fixture between these two at Spurs is pretty unforgettable with Postecoglou opting to play his defensive line on the halfway line despite only having 9 men, and Chelsea could have a similarly strong opportunity to score goals here if Cristian Romero remains out (not that he was much help for Spurs in that 1-4 last season).A few days ago, I was thinking this might be 2-2 since Chelsea have been drawing rather than winning the 'big games' in recent weeks but given how strong the Blues look offensively at the moment I think they should be disappointed with themselves if they don't win this game. Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Chelsea
West Ham vs. Wolves
I've seen this fixture labelled 'El Sackico' on social media and it does feel as if either Julen Lopetegui, Gary O'Neil or both are losing their job after this match. I picked Wolves to win at Goodison in midweek on the basis that they are actually quite good at attacking unlike Everton so to see them lose 4-0 really does show how bad they are defensively. West Ham were actually fairly good at Leicester going forward as I mentioned, so as long as they can finish, they should score at least a couple against this Wolves side. Prediction: West Ham 3-1 WolvesBest of luck with your own predictions this weekend. How do your picks differ from the above?

Ipswich to win their first home game. Leicester new manager bounce so I doubt Brighton will run away with a win there. Draw probably most likely. Newcastle have great record away to Brentford too. Tough game to predict all the same! Good luck. 6 Dec 15:29

Spurs have one fit defender. Even as a fan of theirs, I accept that they are going to lose against Chelsea heavily. Probably concede 3, maybe score 1
