New and improved F1 Predictor now live for the 2026 season

The 2026 Formula One season is set to be a very interesting one as it will feature a major set of regulation changes and two new teams.

Audi have replaced Kick Sauber after acquiring them in 2024, while Cadillac have joined as a brand new team which takes the total number of teams up to 11 and the number of drivers in each race has therefore risen to 22.

Since everything is going up a level this year, we've made some upgrades to our Predictor game on Superbru, too.

Some display updates have just gone live to make everything look a bit cleaner, and we will also be introducing a new prediction element to the game for the race weekends that include a Sprint.

The 2026 calendar

Here's how the 2026 F1 calendar looks.

The notable change is the removal of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, with a second Spanish race taking its place. In addition to the existing Grand Prix at Cricuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which will now be known as the Catalan Grand Prix, there will also be a race in Madrid.

A new street circuit named 'Madring' - a fun little portmanteau of "Madrid" and "ring" - will now be the home of the Spanish Grand Prix. It is located close to the city's airport, next to Real Madrid's training ground, with it's inaugural race set for September.

Sprint Races

As you can see, we've indicated which race weekends will include a Sprint on the graphic above, and that's because they're about to get a lot more interesting for Superbru players this year.

Sprints have been added to our Predictor game in 2026 as a new pick that you save separately to your predictions for the main race.

The Sprint prediction will add a fresh constructor element to our F1 Predictor. For each Sprint race, you must predict the team you believe will pick up the most points in the Sprint race, rather than a specific driver.

Correctly predicting the team that obtains the most points from a Sprint race will be worth 3 points on Superbru.

This means there's a new tactical element to consider when making your predictions for the relevant Grand Prix weekends.

As an example, you may feel Max Verstappen will win the Sprint in China, but unless his Red Bull teammate Isack Hadjar also finishes in the top 8, it is possible for other constructors to out-score Red Bull if their drivers finish 4th and 5th, for instance.

The number of points each place receives in an F1 Sprint race is shown below:

As the above graphic shows, the 2026 Sprint races take place in:
  • China (Round 2)
  • Miami (Round 6)
  • Canada (Round 7)
  • Great Britain (Round 11)
  • Netherlands (Round 14)
  • Singapore (Round 18)
These rounds have now become the rounds where the most points are on offer on Superbru, representing big opportunities to make gains on your Predictor league leaderboards.

The deadline for making your Sprint predictions will be the start of each Sprint race (after Sprint qualifying).

The usual deadlines will remain in place for the main race with Early Bru Points (EBPs) received if you make your main race predictions before Qualifying which takes place after each Sprint.

The other predictions you make each week - Pole Position, Podium, Positions 4-10 and Fastest Lap - remain in place as normal.

If you correctly predict the team that picks up the most points in the Sprint, your 3 points will be added to your round total at the end of the Grand Prix when leaderboards are updated.

The game is best enjoyed when taking on friends, family or perhaps colleagues in a private league. Once you've joined the game, create your own league and you'll find various ways in which you can fire out some invitations to new players.

Note: Development of the new Sprint prediction feature is almost complete but still ongoing - things will already be showing for many of you on our website when looking at the relevant races and implementation into the Superbru app will soon be complete.

Good luck!

This is going to be the most exciting F1 season in a long long time. I hope there will be at least 2 or 3 teams that get it right off the bat. I don't want to see one team dominate every race and everyone else spends the season trying to catch up.
