New: Additional scoring opportunities in our fantasy football games
This summer's World Cup and the fantasy games we are running for it will be the first tournaments to include some scoring changes we are making to increase the number of ways in which you can score points. Using data provided to us by Opta, players will now receive extra points for specific achievements within a game that will deliver more detailed, interesting and enjoyable games that remain as simple to play.
Here is the updated list of things that players can receive points for in both our World Cup Fantasy and World Cup 5-a-side Fantasy games:

The main purpose for these scoring changes is to provide value in a greater number of players meaning there is likely to be an increased amount of team variation between you and other members in your pool. By rewarding the likes of N'Golo Kante for the interceptions and tackles he so often makes in games, there becomes a greater element of value in certain players that almost never pick up points in the more traditional scoring systems because of a lack of goals and assists. In our 5-a-side game for example, there is likely to be a greater number of decent central midfield options in Band 3 with this new system.
That isn't to say we haven't found new ways to reward attackers too though. Key players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Heung-min Son and Eden Hazard are perhaps even more attractive now with the points we are offering for dribble completion, chance creation and fouls won in the final third.
However, it is important to note that we have considered these changes carefully to ensure that those who like to play more casually can continue to do so without needing to suddenly spend hours reviewing Opta stats before selecting their teams. The weighting of the scoring system means that the most important things in-game (goals, assists and clean sheets) remain the most valuable things in Superbru's scoring system.
Though we believe this point system may add excitement through the increased likelihood of some 'hidden gem' signings that pick up some points while playing against England for Panama this summer, the system naturally still rewards each team's best-performing players (who we of course all aim to pick). Take Mo Salah who scored far more points than anyone else in this year's Premier League season for example - this new scoring system would mean he'd just scored even more points because of his excellent performances regardless of how many interceptions Dejan Lovren was making at the other end.
We hope you agree that these scoring changes will have a positive effect on the experience had by fantasy football Superbru players. Best of luck to all in your quest for glory this summer!

Sounds Great. Now just waiting for Captain rotation allowed between games in a round. e.g. Game 1 in round one is played, your picked captain did not perform to well and you are allowed to change your captain for the next game still in the same round. But should you choose to do so, you will lose all points your original captain accumulated, or even carry a -2 penalty change. Could allow better planning of captain pics and will make things very interesting in weighing up such benefits, to the lose/gamble of hard earned fantasy points.
