Jack's Round 7 Premier League Predictions
This weekend's Premier League round feels more significant at the bottom of the table than at the top, with some really interesting fixtures coming up between the newly promoted sides and the teams they're looking to overtake.
Hull face Fulham, Ipswich face Manchester City and Coventry take on Tottenham. All three of those established Premier League clubs have genuine concern that they might be in the second tier next season.
I wouldn't say there were any hugely surprising results, just a lot of tough calls that I didn't get right. The scoreline in Coventry's win over Newcastle was obviously quite unexpected, and I was also fairly shocked at Palace beating Forest by a couple of goals.

Chelsea very rarely win at Everton so I'm going with a draw there as they also haven't been good in recent away games, while I think Brentford might beat Liverpool. My pick for that game at the Gtech is subject to change on team news though if the Reds have some players back; I should have changed my pick to Man City last week once Szoboszlai was out in addition to Gakpo and Isak.
Fulham absolutely have to beat Hull at home, I think. Alvaro Arbeloa is in real trouble if they don't. I'm tempted by the draw because that defeat at Ipswich will have been crushing for Fulham, but they're 'due' I guess you could say and there aren't many more favourable home fixtures despite Hull's remarkably impressive start.
Then, to finish on Saturday, I've got Villa to win at Newcastle because Unai Emery's team look to be warming up whereas I'm not sure Newcastle have played well since Round 2.

On Sunday, there's a bit more hesitation after Europa League and Conference League football, but I've got Bournemouth to finally win their first league game of the season and Brighton to edge the 'derby' between themselves and Palace.
Manchester United were very slightly improved away at Atletico Madrid in midweek but with even more media scrutiny after Lisandro Martinez's comments, I can't see them winning at Leeds. He's going to need to play well if he starts.
Atleti, Leeds and Como as a run of three straight away games is a horrible run of fixtures when you're playing as badly as they are and it's probably more likely than not that they fail to win any.
Finally, Monday night's clash at Spurs is very interesting now that Coventry have won two on the bounce. Tottenham are playing better than their results would suggest, but that doesn't eradicate the problem of a complete lack of a clinical edge in attack.
Now, you've got suddenly got a Coventry team full of confidence visiting you for what feels like an early season relegation 6-pointer, led by Frank Lampard who would obviously love to put another dent in Spurs as a Chelsea legend.
I think this is where Spurs finally manage a first win - is it too brave to suggest all 3 winless teams win this weekend!? - but I can picture it being a reverse of recent matches in the sense that Coventry might really make them work for it and end up feeling hard done by to have lost?
Feel free to leave your own predictions and thoughts in the comments.
Best of luck in Round 7!

Last round
😐 | A rough one. 4/10 and just 5.5 points.I wouldn't say there were any hugely surprising results, just a lot of tough calls that I didn't get right. Round 7
The round begins with two remarkably similar fixtures in a way, because Everton and Brentford are both looking to extend unbeaten starts to the season against traditional 'big six' opposition.
