Round 17 is the final round before Christmas, featuring Aston Villa vs. Manchester City, Tottenham vs. Liverpool and Vitor Pereira taking charge of Wolves.

Aston Villa vs. Manchester City

Last weekend's disappointing 1-2 defeat to rivals United despite leading 1-0 after 88 minutes shows that Manchester City remain very fragile both defensively and mentally during their current slump, so it's difficult to predict when Pep Guardiola's side will turn the corner and get back towards their best. This is another difficult fixture for City and one that they lost last season when they were much nearer the peak of their powers, so it's arguably harsh on Aston Villa that both the bookies and our Insights data still see City as narrow favourites.…
