Fantasy PREM Rugby and URC Fantasy Wildcards now active

Following a lengthy break for this month's international rugby, club action returns this weekend so here's a quick reminder that wildcards are active ahead of this weekend's deadlines in both Fantasy PREM Rugby and URC Fantasy.

What is a wildcard?

A new addition for this season, wildcards allow you to make as many free transfers as you want.

Usually, you are restricted to 4 free transfers per round in PREM Fantasy (with every additional transfer you make costing you 6 fantasy points), and 6 free transfers per round in URC Fantasy.

This season, to help with squad planning and to provide an extra tactical feature to our fantasy games, wildcard rounds are in play to give you the chance to overhaul your squad if you wish.

How to make the most of it

Since dynamic player pricing has also been introduced to our fantasy games this season, many of you will have found your budgets have gradually increased if players you own have risen in price. Now, there's a chance to sell players and make the most of that budget with fresh new additions if you wish.

Of course, on the flip side, top performing players have gone up in price considerably since Round 1, making them difficult to afford (we're looking at you, Immanuel Feyi-Waboso). If you've been struggling to find the budget to get such players into your team, the wildcard is a rare opportunity to make wholesale changes to allow for budget space where you need it most.

If you need a big reset, make sure you make the most of this week! The next wildcard rounds aren't until Round 11 in PREM Fantasy and Round 13 in URC Fantasy.
