F1 Preview: Hungarian Grand Prix
Hectic HockenheimA dramatic race in the wet for the second consecutive year in Germany produced a hat-trick of classic races in 2019, with Verstappen coming out on top for the second time in that period. Vettel was next with a great drive from the back of the grid after a disastrous qualifying, a much-needed morale boost at his home race. Kvyat was arguably the driver of the day with a shock podium result in the Toro Rosso, a fabulous effort from them.
Plenty of others however had a day to forget, Leclerc and Bottas crashed out at the final section as did home-favourite Hulkenberg when in a podium position. Hamilton too had his struggles and was fortunate to score any points (courtesy of post-race penalties). Haas had their best result in a long time after both Grosjean (7th) and Magnussen (8th) got in the points.

The Hungarian GP marks the final race before the mid-season break. It will do well to live up to the standard of the past 3 action-packed races!
Last season Hamilton was victorious ahead of the Ferrari duo of Vettel and Raikkonen. Can he repeat the feat this year and extend his championship lead going into the summer break?
