Exact Score Challenge: Round One Prize Winner!

One Premier League predictor round down, one Exact Score Challenge prize winner already confirmed. A massive congratulations to Darren Thornton from the UK who has become the first Superbru challenge winner of the 2018/19 Premier League season.

The achievement

As those of you who have had a little peek at the global standings after Round One will know, Darren predicted the results of the opening Premier League weekend better than anyone else in the Superbru community. To manage that and win the virtual global Yellow Cap for an individual round is a monster achievement in itself (especially in Round One as you go top of the leaderboard), but as if that wasn't enough, Darren also nailed SEVEN exact scores within his 10 picks, meaning he is eligible for an Exact Score Challenge prize.

The prize

If you're yet to read about the Exact Score Challenge properly, this challenge means there is an opportunity to win up to £50,000 in every round of our Premier League predictor. The greater the number of exact scores you manage to pick in an individual round, the greater the prize you receive.

This week, an incredibly high scoring opening round saw three brus each manage seven exact score picks. A massive well done to Isaac Douglas from the UK and Paddy Keenan from Canada for their super-human predictor efforts, but as the rules state, only one player can win the prize in a given round and since it is Darren that is highest on our global leaderboard, he now receives £500 in prize money.
