Currie Cup: Round 9 Predictions

The opening round of the Currie Cup did not go my way last weekend, as the Bulls came back to win at Newlands, and I missed the margins in both other fixtures.
I’m looking to bounce back this week, and can see an upset or two coming up.
Here are my Currie Cup predictions for Round 2 this weekend.
Pumas v Griquas
The Pumas edged the Griquas in the return fixture in October, but the respective team trajectories since then has me leaning towards the Griquas. Moreover, the home side has made a raft of changes in key positions, and whilst most people will back the Pumas, this is an opportunity too good to miss.
Griquas by 3Bulls v Cheetahs
You can’t look past the Bulls here, back at Loftus full of confidence after beating Western Province, and they’ll be out to avenge their defeat in Bloemfontein back in October.
Bulls by 6Lions v Western Province
The Stormers have had the better of this Super Rugby rivalry over the last few years, and despite their defeat to the Bulls last weekend, I fancy an away win here. The Lions have been underwhelming, with narrow 3-point wins over the Griquas and Pumas in their two most recent outings, and Province look a bit stronger to me.
Western Province by 3
Odds at start of week had pumas big favourites but as you say they have made wholesale changes so Griquas now slight favorites. To win by 1
