Belgium squad named for 2026 World Cup
Belgium have announced their 2026 World Cup squad today with Rudi Garcia officially settling on his 26 players for the tournament.
This year, they face a more favourable group that contains Egypt, Iran and New Zealand.
Here's the 26-man list in full:

Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku looks like the standout player heading into this summer as his recent form has been electric now that he's added consistent goals to his performances.
The goalkeeping department is stacked with two very able backups for Thibaut Courtois who has had his fair share of injury problems during the past season with Real Madrid, while there's plenty of experience in midfield through several well-known Premier League players.
Defence is perhaps the big question mark. There's now a lack of quality experienced players in the Belgium backline, while promising members of the new generation such as Zeno Debast and Maxim De Cuyper perhaps haven't played quite as many minutes as hoped in the 2025-26 domestic season.
