All hail Dawid!
Regular brus will at some point in their Superbru careers have encountered Dawid Kerschbaumer, our Community Manager. When you'd write to us in a panic, saying your Everton v Villa pick didn't seem to have saved, or the wrong person had been awarded the wooden spoon, or your car wouldn't start, Dawid would be there, patient and calm, taking care of things.
Dawid is moving on to focus full time on a bigger role in a different, unrelated business, and we hope you'll join us in saying a huge well done and thank you to him for his amazing service to Superbru over the years.
Dawid earned his first Superbru cap in 2010 and was selected to join the team in 2011. He went on to become not just a key member of the squad but also an avid player, amassing a formidable 94,043 caps (not out), making him one of our most-capped players.
Everyone who works on the Superbru team becomes part of the brains trust behind the product, and Dawid made numerous thoughtful contributions to the ongoing evolution of our games and platform over the years. His specialist knowledge in cricket and cycling helped shape our games in those sports, and I can't count the number of times he championed issues that were being raised by the community which led to bug fixes, improved user experience and new features, always bringing his own thoughtful point of view on the best way forward.
Dawid was selected for the highest level of the game as a young man. During his time with Superbru, he has excelled in his role while also getting married, having kids and building his personal responsibilities. But, like many elite sportsmen, a time comes when you need to hang up your boots and move on, and we wish Dawid everything of the best for the future. He is an immensely likeable, capable, reassuring, smart and reliable fellow and we'll miss him!
