2026 World Cup Predictor: Day 3
All three co-hosts at this year's World Cup are now officially underway and the fact that none of them lost should be very good news for the tournament as the mood around each host team stays positive across Mexico, Canada and the US.
Today, things go up a notch in terms of the number of matches taking place so make sure you've made all your predictions!
Here is your Day 3 round-up. Beginning with a catch-up on yesterday's results.
After such a strong showing in the second half, Canada arguably deserved to win this game and very nearly did late on, but Bosnia's first half goal was enough for a point. After a strong opening few minutes from the Canadians in front of a really strong crowd in Toronto, Bosnia did well to weather the storm and then went ahead through a set-piece.
Jesse Marsch will be pleased with how much more dominant Canada were in the second period though, and by the time Cyle Larin came off the bench to score the equaliser, it was the least Canada deserved. The Canadians face Qatar next and a win will almost certainly send them through, but they'll be keen to win Group B so that they can continue playing with home advantage in the Round of 32.
This was the first game where Exacts were few and far between on Superbru Football, so a huge well done to the 777 players that predicted 4-1! Gio Reyna owes the thousands of you that predicted 3-1 an apology.
The US were excellent, putting in by far their best display yet under Mauricio Pochettino. Paraguay certainly weren't at their best, and star man Julio Enciso being out paced by Tim Ream on a couple of occasions would suggest he's not 100% fit, but the USMNT's intensity paired with a strong crowd at SoFi Stadium was clearly too much regardless.
Following this near-perfect opening result, the USA now go into their Round 2 match with Australia in a fantastic position.

Today's schedule:
The most difficult decision today is perhaps working out when is the best time to get some sleep, as Scotland's first World Cup match since 1998 will certainly be worth a watch and Türkiye are making their first appearance since coming 3rd in 2002.

Personally, I think there's a reasonably firm favourite in all four matches, particularly the first one where an Exact scoreline might be tricky to nail if Switzerland dominate as much as I believe they will.
Good luck to you all with your predictions! With more matches now taking place per day, leaderboards will be changing much more quickly 📈📉

I have set in at Qatar 0-2 Swiss (might change to 3), Brazil 2-1 Morocco (though think it might be 1-1, Haiti 1-0 Scotland, and Australia 1-2 Turkey
Other than Swiss not confident about any of them, really. I know there's a strong chance Scotland will win, but I think for the reasons I wrote in other articles there is some value in backing Haiti. Worth a differential pick. Of course Scotland might run riot, but the weather, humidity, diaspora, historical precedent etc make it tricky for Scotland.
Brazil could drop points against Morocco but gonna go with the likely consensus there to balance my Scotland pick. I don't think Australia are a pushover, and it isn't like Turkey are brilliant, but gonna give them the edge.
Best of luck to everyone with their predictions.
qatar 1, switzerland 5.
brazil 4, morocco 1.
haiti 1, scotland 3.
australia 3, turkiye 1.
