2026 Six Nations Squads Announced

Squads for this year's Six Nations are being released this week as we approach kick-off which is on Thursday 5th February.

On Superbru Rugby, our Six Nations Predictor and Six Nations Fantasy games are already live and available for you to join, with now being a good time to start drafting your fantasy squad as we begin to get the confirmed player lists for 2026.

Here are each of the squads that have been named for the championship.

England

Squad expected on Friday.

France

Defending champions France should be strong again in 2026, but Fabien Galthie has sprung some surprises with his squad.

Gregory Alldritt, Gael Fickou and Damian Penaud have each been left out of his 42-man roster.

Ireland

Andy Farrell's Ireland squad for this year includes 20 forwards and 17 backs.

Caelen Doris will captain the squad which includes 2 uncapped players - Edwin Edogbo and Nathan Doak - as well as plenty of competition for the 10 shirt.

Italy

Gonzalo Queseda has named 33 players in his Azzurri squad for this year which will be captained by Michele Lamaro.

Ange Capuozzo's absence through injury is a huge blow, but it will be interesting to see how Edoardo Todaro gets on after a stunning Gallagher PREM season so far where he has picked up a lot of fantasy points for Northampton Saints.

Scotland

Once again, Gregor Townsend has been able to name a very settled looking squad made up of 23 forwards and 17 backs.

Bordeaux lock Jonny Gray returns which is notable, while Glasgow Warriors centre Sione Tuipulotu will again captain the side.

Wales

Welsh rugby remains in a difficult place at the moment and news relating to the future of the regions and imminent sale of Cardiff Rugby has been the bigger story this week, but Wales dropped their Six Nations squad for 2026 on Tuesday.

Jac Morgan is a huge miss due to injury, with Dewi Lake set to captain the squad in his absence, but on a more positive note, prop Tomas Francis returns for the first time since RWC 2023.
