2026-27 Champions League Predictor now live

Our Predictor game for the 2026-27 Champions League is now live.

To play, head to the Superbru Football app, and in the Leagues tab you can create your own private league and take on friends throughout the new campaign.

Widely regarded as the best club football competition in the world, Paris Saint-Germain are defending champions having won back-to-back finals in 2025 and 2026 against Inter and Arsenal respectively.

As the league stage draw was only completed at the end of last week, there's a shorter window in which to sign up for this Predictor in comparison to most of our tournaments.

Kick-off is next Tuesday (September 8th) so get involved now!

2026-27 teams

During the league phase, each of the 36 teams will play 8 matches. 4 are played at home, with the other 4 away.

In terms of debutants, Como, LASK, Sabah FK and Viking FK are each appearing in the league phase/group stage of the Champions League for the first time.

Both Como and Sabah are playing European football for the first time in their history, with the Azerbaijani club only founded in 2017.

I will try anything to try and keep up with all the great predictors like you Andy and Dave. Doing well in PL so far. Scored 20 points in first 2 rounds same as Dave. He will eventually pull away and leave me in the dust. If I can average 1 point for every match played I will be in the hunt. Anyway good luck this weekend Andy 1 Sep 04:04

Averaging 1 point per game would get you high up global leagues, Marko. That would be 380 points for PL alone. Bear in mind this would include slam points, too. Even in some of my higher finishes (I only have access to last season's data so not sure on my peak in 24-25) I was averaging 0.85 to 0.95 points per game in my best leagues (again, assume this includes ths slam points) where I usually finished top 2 to top 8 percent last season. I am averaging 1.07 points per game in La Liga so far this season but I expect that to settle down a bit lower. Hence, average 1 point per game - 10 points per week in PL, including slam points - would surely be sensational performance. 8 Sep 09:50

Jack, if you read this, could you tell us what points total the overall PL global winner had last season? I assume it's fewer than 380? I got 333.5 and still finished top 2 percent, only missing 1 pick (which I'd have got wrong anyway). 8 Sep 09:51

Thanks Jack. I have found a way to recall points totals from the past for myself, and some other users - looking at clubs medal tables and league history lol. I have been in Puppies since 2022 so I can see all mine and their past scores and breakdowns. 8 Sep 12:43

Furthermore, Jack, I believe when I finished 44th in world out of 75000 in 24-25 I had 378 points - so last season must have been much less predictable if winner 'only' had 364 pts. I am putting this down to the game reflecting the real life tactics of more attritional football and set pieces last season, and fewer total goals. 8 Sep 12:46

Good shout - premium for a year for the reigning champions of their tournaments would be a nice touch. I don't know if this ends up costing Superbru money though given the sheer volume of tournaments. To make it fair they'd also have to include all the other sports. On the other hand, anyone good enough to win a tournament globally probably already has premium anyway. 7 Sep 10:15

i always wonder why the uefa champions league predictor always has fewer players playing the competition on superbru than the english premier league predictor. isn't the uefa champions league a much more bigger competition than the english premier league? the uefa champions league predictor to me is supposed to have the same number of players playing the competition the way the world cup predictor is played.

There's a lot more 'casual' football fans who follow just the Premier League. Champions League has more 'serious' football fans. I don't wanna sound elitist, and I have probably phrased it badly, but the PL is marketed better and English language in its totality, hence it has the most popularity. I agree, though - the CL is higher level usually. However, there's also the element of the CL not being a straight double round robin and having a knockout phase - this turns a lot of people off too. 7 Sep 10:06
