2025-26 Premier League: Round 9 Match Previews

Happy Friday, Premium gang.

This week's European action has only just finished with a few surprising results on Thursday night, but it's already time to Go Ahead (sorry, Villa fans) with this weekend's Premier League previews as Round 9 starts this evening with Leeds vs. West Ham.

Many of the most challenging predictions in this round come on Sunday, not least because that's when those involved in Thursday's Europa League and Europa Conference League will be in action and it's tricky to gauge each team's ability to cope with the short turnarounds.

Leeds United vs. West Ham

Leeds have been putting in some good performances of late, without managing to score the necessary goals to win games. Last week's defeat at Turf Moor was a prime example, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat despite accumulating an xG of 2.63 in comparison to Burnley's 0.45. Daniel Farke will therefore be looking for his forwards to be more clinical in this favourable home fixture, as based on West Ham's recent performances, they're going to get a lot of chances.…
