2025-26 Premier League: Round 37 Match Previews

The penultimate round of this Premier League campaign begins tonight when Aston Villa host Liverpool. After that, the rest of the matches take place between Sunday and Tuesday, with Saturday clear for the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City.

Chelsea and City's league games have been moved to Tuesday night so previews for those will be available on Monday after the Cup final has been played.

Aston Villa vs. Liverpool

This is Aston Villa's final home league game of the season and a big fixture on paper as it's 5th vs. 4th, but Villa have a far bigger match coming up on Wednesday when they'll play the Europa League final against Freiburg in Istanbul. Based on what we've seen from Unai Emery in recent weeks, it's highly unlikely we'll see a full strength Villa side here in advance of that final, so Liverpool are favourites. A win for either team would seal Champions League qualification, but Villa can also do that by securing a major European trophy on Wednesday.…
