After a short pause for the FA Cup third round (our FA Cup Predictor is coming soon and will start with the fourth round as always), the Premier League returns this weekend and begins with the small matter of a Manchester derby.

Here are your exclusive match previews for each fixture in Round 22 of the Premier League Predictor.

Man. United vs. Man. City

After being appointed until the end of this 2025-26 season on Tuesday, Michael Carrick's first game back at Manchester United as head coach is a big one as the Red Devils enter this derby as underdogs. An Old Trafford crowd that will be fully behind Carrick could well serve as a leveller, but there are 11 points between these two teams as things stand and though City have, like United, drawn their last three league matches, they had an excellent 0-2 win away at Newcastle on Tuesday in the League Cup semi-finals. That result followed a 10-1 win over Exeter City in the FA Cup last weekend and new signing Antoine Semenyo has scored in both matches after arriving from Bournemouth for a hefty fee.…
