2025-26 football Predictor games now live on Superbru Football

The 2025-26 football season is very nearly upon us (or is actually already underway if you're in Scotland!) so here's a reminder of what's available to play on Superbru Football in this campaign.

Now that we've reached August, this is the perfect time to download the Superbru Football app which is the dedicated home for all of our football Predictor games.

As you can see below, we are again covering each of Europe's top leagues, with our most popular game - the Premier League Predictor - getting underway in just 10 days time on August 15th.

Here's a quick intro to each of the available tournaments as well as the links that will take you straight to each tournament if you're reading this on the Superbru Football app.

August 2: Scottish Premiership

Scotland's top flight got underway last weekend with a difficult Saturday for Predictor players as both Kilmarnock vs. Livingston and Motherwell vs. Rangers ended as draws.

That means Russell Martin is already a couple of points behind Celtic in his new role as Rangers manager, though the defending champions weren't hugely convincing themselves as their victory over St. Mirren was far less comfortable than most of our players predicted, with that fixture finishing 1-0 at Celtic Park.

If you're keen to play the Scottish Premiership Predictor it's stil nice and easy to join by clicking here, and when you create a league on the Superbru Football app you'll see an option to begin scoring from Round 2 which begins on Saturday.

August 8: EFL Championship

The EFL Championship is the next football tournament that will be getting underway as that begins on Friday night when newly promoted Birmingham City take on Ipswich Town who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Our Championship game includes the play-offs at the end of the season which determine who takes the third available spot in next season's Premier League.

August 15: Premier League

Defending champions Liverpool will kick-off the new Premier League season next Friday night when they host Bournemouth at Anfield. A headline fixture in Round 1 then sees Manchester United take on Arsenal on the Sunday.

Our full season preview for the Premier League will be available at the start of next week, and Superbru Premium users will have access to individual match previews for all 380 fixtures across the campaign.

August 15: LaLiga

Spain's LaLiga gets underway on the same night as the Premier League, and Barcelona are back to being the team to beat after their very impressive first season under Hansi Flick in 2024-25.

Obviously, that hasn't gone down well with Real Madrid, who have been strengthening their backline this summer with the arrivals of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alvaro Carreras and Dean Huijsen. It will be very interesting to see how new manager Xabi Alonso decides to set things up.

Elsewhere Atleti's squad overhaul has continued with the arrivals of Thiago Almada, Johnny Cardoso and Alex Baena, Athletic Club still have both of the Williams brothers for a season which will see their return to the Champions League as they've managed to hold on to Nico, and Real Betis may well continue to impress after a strong second half of last season now that they've managed to sign not just 1 but 2 strong goalkeepers.

August 15: Ligue 1

To complete what will be a very busy Friday night next week, Ligue 1 will get underway when Rennes face Marseille.

After such a remarkable season for PSG in 2024-25 which saw them finally lift the Champions League for the first time, the French top flight looks like more of a 1-horse race than ever, but we saw a genuinely great race for the other Champions League spots last season between Marseille, AS Monaco, Nice and Lille.

Despite some pretty serious financial shenanigans, Lyon are somehow still knocking about as well after a successful appeal against automatic relegation so they should add to the fun too.

August 22: Bundesliga

If German football is your thing, the Bundesliga begins a week later when Bayern Munich will be dressed in their very questionable new home kit for what should be a very interesting opener against RB Leipzig.

Bayer Leverkusen, who had managed to make themselves Bayern's main rivals in the last couple of seasons, have had their squad well and truly decimated in this summer transfer window following the departure of manager Xabi Alonso as well so new boss Erik ten Hag has his work cut out.

August 23: Serie A

Completing Europe's 'big 5' leagues on Superbru Football is Italy's Serie A which is the league where we'll be able to see if Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric have still got it (among many other things). Having signed for Napoli and AC Milan respectively, De Bruyne and Modric have landed in rather contrasting spots with Milan having considerably more to prove in this campaign after a below par 2024-25 than defending champions Napoli.

Inter are starting a new chapter after the departure of manager Simone Inzaghi following last season's hugely disappointing Champions League final, while Roma are perhaps a team to watch following their excellent period under Claudio Ranieri last season and subsequent appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini who has of course just finished a very long and successful spell in charge of Atalanta.

You can play the Serie A Predictor here.

As you can see on the graphic, tournaments for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League will also be available soon once these domestic leagues have kicked off, while our Predictor game for the Women's Super League will also launch in the coming weeks.

Regardless of how many Predictors you intend to play this season, we hope enjoy the campaign on Superbru and we have the small matter of a World Cup to look forward to at the end of it!
