2024 Six Nations: All Round 1 lineups confirmed

All lineups are now in for the opening round of the 2024 Six Nations, which means now is the time to build your fantasy squad for the tournament and fill it with confirmed starters!

The opening round features three very interesting fixtures, none more so than the opener between France and Ireland which could decide the entire tournament based on the quality those two teams showed last year.

Here are the starting lineups for Round 1 of the 2024 Six Nations.

France team to host Ireland

As expected with both Romain Ntamack and Antoine Dupont unavailable, France will lineup with Bordeaux Begles duo Matthieu Jalibert and Maxime Lucu as their halfback pairing. Centre Yoram Moefana is set to start on the wing, making him an interesting 'out of position' fantasy option.

Ireland team to face France

Jack Crowley is the man given the difficult task of stepping into Johnny Sexton's flyhalf boots for Ireland, while Calvin Nash will start on the right wing. Joe McCarthy is a starting Lock alongside Tadhg Beirne.

Italy team to host England

Gonzalo Quesada's first Six Nations selection features Tommaso Allan at fullback which makes room for a double Garbisi 9 and 10! Can the Azzurri begin their new era with a surprise win over England?

Update: Italy have now announced two changes to their lineup to face England, with key man Ange Capuozzo ruled out through illness. Lorenzo Pani will start with Federico Mori on the bench. Edoardo Iachizzi is also now out so will be replaced on the bench by Alessandro Izekor.

England team to face Italy

Steve Borthwick has opted for the experienced George Ford at Fly-half while Scrum-half Alex Mitchell has passed a late fitness test and will start. There are debuts for Ethan Roots and Fraser Dingwall in the England team to face Italy in Rome. Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is among the substitutes.

Wales team to host Scotland

Cam Winnett will make his Wales debut on Saturday as he's set to start at fullback against Scotland in Cardiff. With Louis Rees-Zammit no longer available after joining the NFL International Player Pathway, Rio Dyer and Josh Adams start on the wings.

Scotland team to face Wales

Finn Russell leads the Scotland team that will take on Wales, while Kyle Rowe is set to start at fullback as Blair Kinghorn has been ruled out due to injury for the first two rounds of this tournament.
