2024 Paris Olympic Games on Superbru

The Olympics are a standout event on the calendar for all sports fans, so as in previous years, we now have some tournaments live to ensure that there's some fun to be had on Superbru throughout this summer's games.

In total, we have 3 Olympic tournaments available for you to join. Here's a quick overview of each one along with the necessary links to join.

Paris Games

Our main game for the Olympics which is perhaps the most fun and totally unique in comparison to other Superbru tournaments.

The game has a daily format which looks to cover as many different events as we can but with a specific focus on 4 medal events per day. We opt against covering every single event for obvious reasons, so instead you select your predicted gold medal winner from a list of options for each selected event per day.

For most events you will select an individual athlete, but some will require you to select a nation when it's a team/duo event.

As an example of the broad nature of this game, the first day of our Paris Games tournament includes Diving, Cycling, Swimming and Skateboarding.

As mentioned, the game will only include medal events, so it's all about the gold, silver and bronze in a very simple scoring system. If the athlete or nation you selected for the event wins gold you'll receive 5 points, silver will get you 3 points and bronze will get you 1 point.

That means the maximum number of points you can score per day is 20.

The Paris Games tournament is fantastic for adding extra emphasis to certain events when following the Olympics, so click here to create a private league if you'd like to take on friends and family throughout the coming weeks.

Paris Football

Given that we are very used to running football tournaments on Superbru and even have the new football-dedicated Superbru Football app, the Olympics football event is a standalone competition on our platform where you can predict the outcome of every match in both the men's and women's events.

Scoring works exactly as it does in all of our other football tournaments. At the Olympics, men's squads must be U23 (with a few exceptions per squad) so you'll see Thierry Henry managing the hosts given that he's the head coach of the France U23 team, but there are no such restrictions in the women's tournament with the Olympics a standout event in the womens' game that is highly sought after by national teams. The USWNT will be going all out to win for instance, and they'll be playing under new manager Emma Hayes who has recently joined the USA following her incredibly successful spell in charge of Chelsea.

A more specific preview of the Paris Football tournament will be available on the Superbru Football app soon.

Paris Rugby Sevens

Finally, 7s action returns on Superbru for the Paris Games as you'll be able to predict the outcome of each and every 7s match at the Olympics too in our dedicated Predictor tournament.

In our 7s Predictor, you can select from 5 categories for each fixture - a 12pts+ winning margin for one of the teams, a 1-11pt winning margin for one of the teams or a draw. You receive 1 point on Superbru for predicting the right team, with an additional half a point if you selected the correct margin. Correct draw picks receive 1.5 points.

In 7s, the games come thick and fast so it's fun to play along and make some predictions if you've settled down to watch the day's action. Our game is divided up into a round for each day of play, with both the men's and women's events included.

The Men's event takes place over the first 3 days from July 24-27. The Women's event then takes place from July 28-30.

Good luck to those of you getting involved in any/all of these tournaments! We hope you're as excited for the Olympics as we are 🙌🏅

I think it will even be more fun if you can also pick the winning margin like in rugby.
it will be easier to catch up if you 4 or 5 points behind.
I think a lot of players loose interest when they 5 points behind in sevens.

I know this, that is why I said I think it will be more fun for future if they consider a change in sevens prediction. winning margin like SA with 5 points. 20 Jul 05:57

I going to say it again. I they can't change the sevens to the normal rugby format, then try and change it too the cricket format.
0-2 = narrow
3-7 = comp
8 -13 = easy
14 up Trahsing
something like this

at the current format to many pick the same and if you 1 point behind you must take a chance almost to get in front again.

It's fine if you're in the right time zone, but future predictions can be hard to do when the fixtures are still undetermined. I usually drop out half-way through 😁

Good point Liam. One I've made several times in the past. I did great with Sevens WC in SA in 2023 (only 1 hour ahead of UK) compared to the last 'Summer Games' in Tokyo in 2021. I fared worse than a man trying to drink Miso soup with chopsticks. All this 'Winner Match 27 vs Loser Match 23' then the winner of that vs 'Winner of Match 22 vs Loser of 25' due to be played at 4.40am GMT! Its a bit like trying to pick Wimbledon quarter finalists before the Rd 1 deadline (I reckon that 'Brick Outhouse' Sabalenka could be a Sevens try-machine btw, start her off vs the Women first of course). 20 Jul 14:14
