Summary
The inaugural season of the United Rugby Championship is officially complete and congratulations are in order for the DHL Stormers who defeated the Vodacom Bulls in Cape Town on Saturday to become champions!

Despite both off-field and on-field concerns at the start of the campaign, the Stormers got stronger and stronger throughout the URC, with their Grand Final victory over the Bulls meaning they finished this tournament with 11 consecutive wins.

The Bulls can of course also feel proud about their debut URC season - the away win they managed at Leinster in the semi-finals to setup an all-SA final was a truly incredible achievement.

The top two predictors on the Superbru global leaderboard were, fittingly enough, Stormers fans. Well done Shane Carelse and Tommy Labuschagne! Bronze went to the diplomatically neutral Quintin Du Press.

In the draw for a team jersey from the 1,724 players who picked the exact result in the final, Daryl Jansen Van Vuuren was the lucky winner.

You can check out how you got on with your picks in the first ever URC Predictor below.

Next up

We can expect this year's semi-finalists, Leinster and Ulster, to come back stronger next season as they and the other Northern Hemisphere teams look to take the trophy away from South African hands.

However, before the URC returns, we have some international rugby to enjoy! Our July Internationals Predictor is available for you to join now which features all of the headline tours taking place in the coming weeks as well as the Pacific Nations Cup fixtures. July will see Ireland head to New Zealand, South Africa host Wales and Scotland visit Argentina.

Thank you for playing our URC Predictor game this season. We hope to have you back in September for 2022/23 which promises to be an even better campaign with smoother, less disrupted scheduling (hopefully!), fresh players arriving and new rivalries now forming.
