Summary
The 2024-25 Premier League season is complete and regardless of whether you stormed to victory in your Superbru league like Liverpool or found yourself playing for pride from about 10 weeks in like Southampton, we hope you enjoyed our Predictor!

The final day saw Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle United book their places in next season's Champions League, with Newcastle sneaking in despite a shock defeat to Everton in Round 38 (picked by just 3% of players) because Aston Villa were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United.

Villa will instead be playing Europa League football along with FA Cup winners Crystal Palace next season, while Nottingham Forest are Europa Conference League bound. A remarkable achievement for Nuno's team based on pre-season expectations, yet slightly disappointing having spent much of the season inside the top 3.

Europa League winners Tottenham prepared for life in next season's Champions League with their 22nd defeat of the Premier League campaign (yes, that's twenty two), while Liverpool's final game in their title-winning season against Crystal Palace finished 1-1 both in terms of goals and guards of honour.

Next up

Thank you for playing this season's Premier League Predictor! We hope you enjoyed it and hope to see you back in August for the 2025-26 season.

In the meantime, attention turns to the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup that's taking place in the USA this summer. Manchester City and Chelsea will be the Premier League representatives at the tournament, and after each sealing a place in next year's Champions League in Round 38, both clubs will be eager to seal a large slice of the huge prize money available in the Club World Cup to help with squad additions.

The Club World Cup is now a 32-team tournament with 8 groups of 4 set to make for the kind of event we're used to between international teams. A month long in total, the Club World Cup should make for a fun Superbru tournament this summer for those of you looking to compete against friends and family across June and July.

To play the Club World Cup game and/or to hear from us regarding when our game for the new Premier League season is ready for you join, make sure you've downloaded the Superbru Football app.

We look forward to taking you on again in 2025-26 when Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland will be joining the top flight.
