Exact Score Challenge: Round 7 Prize Winner!
Seven rounds have passed, seven prizes have been won. We have yet another Exact Score Challenge winner in our Premier League Predictor game and this week it's another cash prize as Neels Nel who is playing from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia managed 7 exact scores to win $650!
Here's a look at Neels' prize-winning picks:
Despite starting with an incorrect prediction as Manchester United were beaten at West Ham (the least predicted result of Round 7), Neels bounced back in style by getting the rest of the round correct and seven of those nine exact! A remarkable Saturday afternoon saw five games all finish with a 2-0 (or 0-2) scoreline which handed him four exacts ahead of a perfectly predicted end to the round that included the three games taking place between Saturday evening and Monday night.
We got hold of Neels after the round to congratulate him for his impressive picks, send him his prize and ask how he was feeling after becoming the latest bru to win our Exact Score Challenge. Interestingly, it was Neels' sons that were most excited after Burnley's 2-1 win over Cardiff, as they were aware of the potential prizes that are up for grabs whereas the man himself had no idea despite playing along throughout each of the Premier League rounds we've had so far this season!
"I was not aware of the prize for a large number of exact scores and my son pointed out that if the team I support (Manchester United) were kinder to me than the reward could have been even greater! It was on Sunday that my sons were very excited to realise that I was on 6 exacts with one game to go. There was of course even greater excitement this morning when they checked and saw that Bournemouth played their part by beating Crystal Palace 2-1!"
Make sure you make your picks every week throughout the 2018/19 campaign to not only stand a chance of winning a prize but to also earn as many bragging rights as possible when defeating friends in private pools. Best of luck to all and feel free to congratulate Neels in the comments section below!
