How to play SuperBru Tour de France
We are putting the finishing touches on our prediction system and will notify all players by email as soon as picks are open. Thanks for your patience!
How it will work
You'll make two kinds of picks - (1) stage picks, made for each stage of the race, and (2) overall picks for the final standings:
Stage picks
- Predictions must be made before the start of each stage, but you can make them as far in advance as you'd like
- For each stage, you must pick three riders, and say which one will be the stage winner
- If any of your three finish in the top three that day, you collect 1pt per rider
- If you correctly predict the stage winner, you collect an additional 3pts
- Maximum points on offer: 126pts
Overall picks
- Overall picks must be made by the end of the first week, i.e. midnight on Friday 11th (end of stage 7 of 21 stages). By then we will have had flats, time trials and medium mountains so fair coverage of the different categories for you to get a hint at who will take the overall jerseys
- You must pick five riders for the yellow jersey (race winner), and three for each of green (sprints), white (young rider) and polka dot (king of the mountains)
- You must also pick which rider for each jersey will be the overall winner of that jersey
- If any of your riders in each jersey finish in the top 5 (yellow) or 3 (others) you collect 1pt
- If you correctly predict the winner of any jersey you collect an additional 3pts
- Maximum points on offer: 26pts
