Sponsorships

We are actively seeking sponsorships for sports tournaments that can be delivered using the SuperBru game engine.
What is SuperBru?
SuperBru is an online sports prediction game requiring players to predict the outcome of matches in sports tournaments (e.g. pick Leicester to win by 13 points in a Heineken Cup game). A points system rewards accuracy with the goal being to accumulate as many points as possible. Players, for free, can sign up, set up a pool of friends or colleagues and then compete against each other and all other players taking part in the game in question. The game is simple enough to be fun, and sophisticated enough to be engrossing. It is hugely addictive and has a loyal fanbase.
How does sponsorship look?
We can deliver a game on your behalf, marrying our gaming engine and existing audience with your brand. We also have partnerships with online media partners that can assist with promotion to their ready-made audiences.
Case study: Investec
In 2007, we delivered a Super 14 (rugby union) game branded as the Investec Tipping Challenge for Investec Bank, a leading financial services provider with strong presences in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Why do it?
A SuperBru game, delivered by us on your behalf, will provide:
  • The addition of depth to the online marketing behind your involvement in a sports tournament
  • Active, ongoing, two-way engagement with an audience rather than passive broadcasting
  • A chance to deliver a vehicle that defines an audience’s experience of a tournament (addicted players see the tournament from the perspective of their involvement in the game)
  • Automatic access to our existing audience of 51,552 players world-wide
  • Access to a marketing platform through which non-game messages (advertising, editorial, linkage, branding, etc.) can be delivered to a captive, returning audience
  • Little to no work required on your part (we do everything)
  • A flexible and customisable solution to suit your brand and marketing challenges
Cost
Please contact us if you are interested in finding out how we could deliver a game on your behalf. There are too many variables and complexities for us to offer fixed price costing, so let us find out more about you and what you're after, then put together a proposal.
Sports and tournaments
We run games for a range of sports codes including rugby union, football, rugby league, Aussie Rules, American football and cricket. Tournaments covered to date include Super 14, Rugby World Cup 2003, Champions League, FIFA World Cup, Euro 2004, Cricket World Cup 2007, NRL (Australian rugby league), AFL (Aussie Rules), NFL, Heineken Cup, Currie Cup and Air New Zealand Cup.
Usage and audience
SuperBru is a very active website (April 2007: 32,000 users, 2.2m page views, avg. 9 pages per visit, avg. visit lasting 3 – 10 mins).
