Premier League Fantasy Football Tips: Round 16
After a midweek round that finished as late as yesterday for four clubs, it's already time to get your fantasy teams sorted for Round 16 of the Premier League which starts tomorrow!
Five games take place tomorrow, beginning with manager-less Everton taking on Chelsea and finishing with the Manchester derby, before we have four games on Sunday and West Ham vs. Arsenal on Monday night.
Using the average taken from the thousands of picks to have been made in our main game - the Premier League Predictor - we're able to provide you with a 'predicted goals' tally for each team in every round of the competition and we believe this can come in handy when choosing between certain players for your fantasy points. Here's how the data is looking ahead of this weekend.
Interestingly, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are among the teams that are most likely to keep a clean sheet this week, according to our community. This week's fixture list is tricky to pick clean sheets from but those two teams are certainly worth considering based on our data (even though the players I've picked from those clubs as players to consider this week are both attacking midfielders!).
Allan Saint-Maximin
Saint-Maximin (ASM) has added pace and dribbling ability to Newcastle this season meaning he's a threat on the counter-attack. A recent improvement in quality in the final third has resulted in some good results for Newcastle and a first PL goal for ASM on Thursday night at Sheffield United. With some favourable fixtures coming up, now might be the time to gamble on a flurry of attacking returns for the Newcastle winger.
Wilfried Zaha
Crystal Palace's run of tricky fixtures came to an end a few rounds ago so it's no surprise to see Zaha back on people's radars for the festive period. Palace have a nice fixture list for Christmas and are coming into it off back-to-back wins over Burnley and Bournemouth.
Leandro Trossard
I'm a little concerned by Potter's rotation that saw Trossard on the bench last night at the Emirates but Brighton are playing very good football and Trossard is an excellent player. The Seagulls' attacking approach means they have several forward players that are worth considering for goals even in games they may lose but Trossard looks the best of the bunch to me unless of course he begins to sit on the bench more regularly - I believe he may only have been sacrificed in Brighton's last two games due to more defensive players being preferred for games at Anfield and the Emirates.
Best of luck to you all with your fantasy teams this weekend.

Round Sixteen: Predicted Goals (PG)
Unsurprisingly, league leaders Liverpool top the PG charts this week as they face Bournemouth who have lost each of their last four games. Manchester City are expected to score twice as many goals as their rivals in Saturday's derby while Tottenham, Leicester and Chelsea are the other three clubs with a PG tally of more than 2.Interestingly, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are among the teams that are most likely to keep a clean sheet this week, according to our community. Round Sixteen: Players to Consider
With the above data and notes in mind, here are my differential tips for this weekend's action. All three play for clubs that are currently in-form but that you would perhaps consider to be 'mid-table sides' at best. Clubs that you're unlikely to have already used up your 2-player limit on!Allan Saint-Maximin
