Gallagher Premiership Round 9 Predictions!

A GSP last week (bonus points for a full house of correct picks) has meant green arrows all over Superbru.

Let's see if we can keep that going for Round 9 this weekend. Here are my picks.

Harlequins v Exeter

The gulf between Exeter and Saracens and the rest of the league is too great to pick against either of the top two. Exeter by 7

Bristol v Leicester

Instinct says that the Tigers will win, even though the Bears have been pushing teams close and picking up losing Bonus Points against teams in the top half of the table. Leicester by 4

Gloucester v Worcester

The home team usually wins this fixture, and I suspect it will be the same this weekend. Gloucester by 8

Northampton v Newcastle

It was a much needed win for the Falcons last weekend to close the gap between them and Bristol at the bottom of the table. I'm going for the home team again here. Northampton by 7

Saracens v Wasps

As above, I can't pick against the top two teams, particularly when they are playing at home. Sarries have beaten Wasps by an average of over 20 points in their last three fixtures. Saracens by 18

Bath v Sale

This is another fixture where the home team usually wins, as has been the case in the last 7 meetings. Bath by 9
