F1 Preview: USA Grand Prix
Mexican GP recap
On a track that hasn't suited Mercedes, Hamilton showed his champion qualities and defied the odds to come out on top. He came back against the Ferraris who locked out the front row but a different strategy and excellent tyre management proved decisive in turning the race in his favour.Vettel had no answer in the latter stages and had to settle for second whilst Bottas came home in third. Further down, home favourite Perez had a fine race to finish best of the rest in 7th place, whilst it was a race to forget for McLaren with Sainz struggling after his pit stop and ending up 13th and Norris's race being ruined after a pit stop blunder saw him fall to the back of the grid and eventually retire.
