Last time out: Monaco masterclass

On an emotional weekend across the paddock after the sad passing of Niki Lauda, an inspired Lewis Hamilton claimed victory around the tight streets of Monaco. Despite his tyres being well beyond their predicted lifespan he was able to fend off the challenge of Verstappen (who dropped to 4th after a 5 second penalty) to stay ahead and clinch his 4th victory of 2019.

Vettel managed to break the chain of 1-2 finishes for Mercedes by finishing second ahead of Bottas.

Canadian GP

Last season it was Vettel who got the victory for Ferrari around the Montreal circuit, ahead of Bottas and Verstappen. This time around the championship already looks down to the 2 Mercedes drivers, and with an upgraded engine to boot would you bet against them making it 7 wins out of 7?

My podium prediction - 1. Hamilton 2. Vettel 3. Bottas
